At first the clothes were coming out pretty crushed, but we figured out how to fix the settings. The total time needed can be really long (like 5 hours) but we set it on speed setting and everything comes out good. We don’t use sensors, just normal setting and wrinkle free. It’s only about 90 min total. Love the ease of not having to transfer loads. Many, many loads for hockey player sons!

The touch panel functions are easy to use/navigate although could not set to "just dry" time if clothes still damp-frustrating!. Did not try the Wi-Fi capabilities. Load capacity is quite adequate. However total wash/dry time averaged 4 1/2 hrs.-way too long! Bottom detergent/fabric softener dispensers hold large capacity of liquid for many cycles-definitely a plus! Negative-clean top lint trap for dryer always left a slight moisture residue & stickiness, which made it difficult to clean after each cycle. Bottom cylindrical filter (behind detergent dispenser) -always had a fairly small puddle of water discharge when removed to clean! Nearly impossible to use rag/towel to absorb water under pedestal. Unfortunately had to return after 1 month due to negatives.

Dryer spin cycle makes a horribly loud noise like it's about to shake apart. Seems to constantly need detergent added. Takes ~5-6 hours. Called Samsung on the noise. They look for any reason not to support it. Even though I registered it when purchased. Purchased extended warranty through Bestbuy (since new technology at the time) and..shocker...their "free warranty service" is actually not free. They charge you service fee. Throwing it in the trash and going to buy a legit washer AND dryer from a non-electronics store who will stand by their sales.

Then LG made a better one, which my brother owns. But i was waiting for the Samsung. The screen is awesom. Smartthings integration is perfect. One thing i like over the LG is that the lint filter iss on the front instead of top like LG. I have a slide in section for the washer and the lg wouldnt have had the lint filter accessible. Nothing better than setting the washe and not worrying about drying.

My main concern was if problems the complexity to know because of being 2 in one and repairs costing more.

I have yet to try the steam function or refresh to get them less wrinkly. Dont over load it or you'll have to dry some things twice. All 'n all I'd buy it again after a month of use, and definitely recommend it.
