    The first one they delivered kept getting a error code they couldn’t correct. So they brought a new set that washed two loads before losing power. I would give it zero stars but that’s not a option.

    Never buy from Best Buy!!!!!!! Worst experience of my life and now it won’t let me buy the geek squad when they told me I could!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    My wife and I bought this washer back in March. I wanted to allow a few months to go by before giving a review. This thing is excellent. It's quiet, highly efficient and fast. It washes clothing in about 1/3 of the time of my prior Samsung washer. It's so simple to use and it cleans better than our prior unit. I am very happy we made this purchase, money well spent.

    Disappointed with Samsung’s Lack of Support – Won’

    After just over two years, the front electric panel on my Samsung 5.5 Cu. Ft. High-Efficiency Smart Front Load Washer suddenly stopped working mid-cycle. Since it was past the two-year mark, Best Buy wouldn’t support the repair. I contacted Samsung, and they initially agreed to cover a one-time courtesy repair—but only if I went through one of their certified repair shops, which was more expensive than a local repair service. I followed their instructions, completed the repair, and submitted my documentation for reimbursement, but they declined my claim. After months of back-and-forth and escalating to higher departments, Samsung refused to honor what was promised. I even had the name, date, and time of the call where I was told I’d be reimbursed, but they simply said the warranty had expired and refused to take responsibility. Beyond this frustrating experience, the repair technician mentioned that this issue is common in Samsung washers after about two years. I had no electrical issues in my home, so this appears to be a design flaw—one that I had to pay for out of pocket. On the positive side, I liked the ability to use two separate washing sections, which was convenient. However, the poor customer service, lack of accountability, and product reliability issues have made me decide never to buy another Samsung appliance. At the time, I owned five Samsung appliances, but after this experience, I’ll be switching brands. Final Verdict: Not worth the risk—poor product reliability and even worse customer support.

    I purchased the FlexWash and FlexDry in February and it is not possible to be happier with an appliance purchase. After much shopping and comparing, I had made my choice for the Samsung FlexWash (5.5) and FlexDrier. The BestBuy associate helping me with my purchase price matched even better than I had found. Units were delivered as scheduled and unpacked and brought into the laundry room without a scratch. Yes, as some other reviewers reported, they are large. Large like solid refrigerator large, but the dimensions listed are correct. I didn't allow for the dryer vent and so my unit extends past my door frame by a couple of inches, but that is an error on my part. That being said, I LOVE being able to do two loads of wash at a time. The top unit holds a few small items (dish towels, pillow cases, and the towel I forgot to put in the last load) and the bottom unit has held all my regular laundry and a full-size bedspread (separate loads). I generally do a wash load with whites on top (so I can use bleach for those few items) and a full load of colors in the bottom. Then I put the brights in the dryer and do a load of darks in the washer. Any dedicates from all three loads then get dried in the top of the FlexDry. That makes three loads washed and dried in the time of two loads. For me, that is my entire laundry for the week. I had a couple of error messages during set up, but they were all readily resolved by my reading the manual. They are really the best thing since sliced bread. :)

    If you decide to get this set, make sure you get the warranty through best buy because you will need it i have had nothing but trouble with mine this is the third time for the same problem, and I hope they replace it this time I was told they would so we will see in 2 days if they stand by their word. I will post if they do, and it is my washer and dryer same thing the lady I talked to said they both could get replaced so we will see. I will let you all know if they do what they say in the warranty same problem more than 3 times. I would only recommend if you get the extra coverage.

    I do love Samsung so we decided to get this one for our family, the capacity of the front load is huge, having a family of 5 including 2 Toddlers, you can imagine how much dirty cloth we get everyday, this is not a problem for this one it is very reliable, but it does have the problem as many of these kind of washers that small stuff can go in the inner drum, usually they go out through a filter that has on a small door on the bottom right front, and not an easy task but you can do it your self with no need to call a technician. Top washer excellent to use for small loads or delicates. Smart home compatible so you know when the cycle is done.

    We have had this machine since November 2017. We have had Samsung out (during the factory warranty) three times. For the following reasons: - programming of the top washer is wrong from the factory causing the unit to spin too fast. Causing leaks throughout the washer. - torn hose in the inside of the washer causing leaks from the washer - top unit not functioning so a board needed to be replaced All of this was still occurring and going wrong while we are cleaning the filters and draining the machine manually per the Samsung tech representative recommendations on a regular basis. We have had other good washers in the past. Maytag and Electrolux. None of them over 15 years of use have needed this much attention. If there is a blessing in this it is that our units are on the ground floor of our home which has a crawlspace underneath and not a basement or another finished floor. When the machine regularly leaks, water can go down our drain and not damage a lower floor. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE (if it can be called that)! We were roped in by good marketing and a salesperson at Best Buy that assured us that if this was a lemon they would take it back. We had shared the negative reviews with them before our purchase and they said those issues had been resolved. Not the case at all. On top of it Best Buy's 5 year Geek Squad "if it's broke we will replace it" warranty is garbage. Our fourth service call was just completed (by GS) they replaced two boards, took apart the whole machine and still could not get it to turn on. We are not readying for our fifth service call as we wait for more parts to come in so that hopefully (GS guy crossing his fingers) the machine will turn back on and maybe last two months. Best Buy/Geek Squad and Samsung do not care about their customers or their reputation. If we could we would dump them all. Please, if you, a family member are considering this appliance, STOP. There are better options out there for a much lower cost. If I get this thing running again I'll update this post. But for now imagine this as a negative five star review. But until Best Buy changes their scale, one star will have to do. DON'T BUY THIS MACHINE!!!

    I highly recommend the Best Buy extended warranty they are awesome mine broke within a couple months sending whole bunch of codes but they fix them all Samsung's customer service is awful but the products for great whenever you buy Samsung buy the extended warranty from the store.

    I have had nothing but problems with this machine from the day I bought it. It started to leak after 1 month. Samsung sent a person out to look at it because it was under warranty, but the repair man told me that before he would come, I would have to pay him the travel fee. Evidently, Samsung does not cover that. I told him to turn around because I should not have to pay anything. When I talked to Samsung, they flat out told me yes, I would have to pay that. I found there was a hose that was loose. But 12 days ago, the gasket between the door and the drum exploded sending all the water on the basement floor at 10 Pm on a Sunday night. I am still sitting here with out a washer because Samsung service sucks. They replaced the gasket, but now the pump will not pump the water out before the spin cycle. This unit costs well over a thousand dollars but it is only good for taking up space in my basement. It works good when it is working, but I have had nothing but problems with this machine. It doesn't help that Samsung does not have a good warranty, or a warranty that means anything. They really could care less after the sale is done.

    Run from this Machine

    We bought this washer in 2018. It broke after 14 months of use. The machine gets stuck in the rinse and spin cycles and never completes a load of clothes. Especially frustrating for my family since I am deployed to Afghanistan. Samsung won’t exchange or repair the machine, so we have an expensive paperweight in our laundry room. Run away from this product and company!!

    Do Not Purchase!

    Our washer and dryer needed several visits from technicians during warranty period. I own them for about 2.5 years and now washer is completely dead with wet clothes inside. We already threw away expensive Samsung microwave after countless repairs till it ran out of warranty, washer and dryer are next in line. This is extremely disappointing.

    Look for a different one u don’t want this junk

    This wash machine while nice to have 2 washers when it works is nothing but problems and doesn’t work half the time. We have had it fixed multiple times because of the leak sensor and yet it continues to break. If you purchase this getting the extended warranty will be the absolute best decision you ever make. Although our experience with the geek squad protection is that they farm it out to a 3rd party company and that usually takes over a month for the first visit to happen then another 2-4 weeks for the company to come back, order the part and actually fix it. So overall haven’t been impressed by the geek squad protection either but at least we don’t have to pay out of pocket for the repairs. If I could go back in time I would most definitely never have purchased this wash machine or any of the other Samsung appliances that we consistently have problems with.
