After a careful review of numerous 55" TV's on the market, this was clearly the frontrunner. In my opinion, it has the best picture by far. I would, however, definitely recommend a Samsung sound bar because the built-in speakers are on the bottom and don't amplify sound as well.

This TV is just 10 inches smaller than my other TV. It too has the best picture on the market just like it's bigger brother. I recommend you at least take a look and compare it to its competitors. You won't be sorry.

This tv is primarily being used as a secondary gaming tv. The new remote system is okay but takes a little getting use to and I prefer the older style menus and remotes. Picture is good, but not better than my 5 year old plasma. Wish they would bring PLASMA back. Always a great experience working with best buy and their excellent team of employees. Product was delivered by the geek squad to my office at 9am on the day of scheduled delivery.

This TV had stunning reviews on it prior to me buying it and I can now see why. Whether it is the Nano-crystal screen with its amazing color and ridiculous blacks, the Tizen OS for the Smart Hub, or the Smart Remote this TV is one of the most technological units I have ever seen and I like that. This is not your traditional TV by any means and someone who buys this TV would not regret it at all.

Although I wanted a larger screen, I chose the 55 inch because of the wall/room size for the new tv. I already have a Samsung 4K 3D tv which I love; this model is an upgrade and is SUHD. Definitely an amazing tv, with amazing clarity and colors! You won't be disappointed!!

I had a 42 inch LG flat screen that was starting to have some bleed over issues when I would change the channel. I upgraded to the 55" SUHD and it was a huge difference!! The picture and color is fantastic. I would highly recommend this tv to my friends. I Watch a lot of football, soccer and baseball. There is no ball blur it is crisp and clear!

Upgraded from a non-smart 32" TV to this wonderful 55" Smart 4K SUHD TV. Did a lot of research and and waiting patiently prior to buying it. Narrowed down that the tv has to be 120Hz (240 MR), at least 50", and includes technological availability. Bought this when it was down to $1500, lowest price I've seen, after a few weeks of price drop teasing. I watch a lot of video/movies on YouTube, Netflix, and Hulu. Really like the picture quality and realistic viewing of the screen. The black shades of color tone is exquisite on movies. Navigating between the different apps is easily done without losing where you left off on from previous apps. I own a Samsung wireless headphone and the TV connects easily when my headphone is turned on. Screen mirroring from my S5 is also done easily. The remote is compact and makes it easy to use with the touch pointer. Overall, it was a great purchase and no regrets whatsoever.

I did quite a bit of investigation before making this purchase. I chose to move up to the 8500 series to get the enhanced color and better designed internet interface. This set has met all of my expectations.

I was sold on Samsung when my last dlp lasted a long time with no major repairs and continued good color. This 4k tv is a great step up and with a smaller footprint. It even makes non hd video look great.

I purchased this 3 weeks ago and I'm still enjoying how amazing it looks, the sound from the tv speakers is great. Samsung out did themselves and I have no complaints.

Would have loved to buy an OLED but way too expensive right now. This TV is very clear, great picture and was half the price of OLED. Definitely adjust the settings to get best picture as the out of box settings are just ok. I used Rtings.com recommended settings.

great TV awesome quality. Took my Sony 4k TV back to the store because of issues with the Android TV replace it with this TV and it was the best choice I made. Good job Samsung with a great quality product.

My first 4K set and after A TON of research I chose the JS8500. First set I had delivered looked great but had a decent amount of clouding and some flashlighting from the lower left corner. I talked to Best Buy and had a replacement delivered the next day with no issues. New set's panel has no issues and I love this thing! FYI both TV's had the Samsung manufactured TH01 panel.

Picture is amazing & full of color. Have had several TV's but like the 4K. Switched to DirecTV to get the best quality of the 4K

We had to replace a plasma that was wonderful but this is amazing. Great picture, features and a big perk is how lightweight it is.

I'm pretty happy with this purchase. Build and screen qualities are excellent and UI is easy to navigate. Logitech keyboard works with this TV, very happy about that. Overall, very good product!!!

Loving this TV set from Samsung 2015. Lots of HDR options and 4K/UHD options for content between Netflix, Amazon, M-GO and Upscaling 4K Bluray. Looking forward to enjoying this TV set going forward. Highly recommended. 55 inch fit perfect into my living room.

This was a college graduation present for my son. He absolutely loves it. The colors are rich. Setting it up to his surround sound that are attached to his game consoles was very easy. It's the perfect size for his rec room. And who doesn't love Samsung!!

This is a great tv and would recommend that anyone purchasing it to download the e-manual from the Samsung website as this tv has a lot of features and to utilize them you need to read the manual.
