Q: QuestionDifference between this "SUHD" and the "UHD" modelCan anyone explain why I would want to spend around $900 more for this "SUHD" model? There is a "UHD" model. I know it doesn't have 3D but besides that, what am I giving up if I don't buy this "SUHD" version? Thanks!
Asked by PappyB.
- A:Answer Well you're paying for a better panel. 10bit panel vs a 8 bit. The SUHD also has Samsungs version of quantum dot (nano crystals). This technology is used for achieving a larger color spectrum. It is also HDR ready. I've also noticed that the 10 bit panels have lower motion blur. This is calculated by the led response time not refresh rate. It the time it takes an led to change from one color to another.

Q: QuestionCan another remote be used with this TVI have heard multiple complaints on the new remote for this series of Samsung TV's. Can a universal remote be used? Or another type of Samsung Smart Remote? Can I still use my Verizon Fios HD Receiver remote with this TV and control channels through the cable box? I don't want to have to go through multiple steps each time I want to watch regular cable TV. Would be great if anyone has any input or tips on remote usage. My husband is not "high tech" so I need something he can operate if I am not home.

- A:Answer Yes. I use a Logitech Hamony Touch

Q: QuestionHow is XBOX One and PS4 on this TV?I have both Xbox One and PS4 and wanted to know if anyone has used this TV for console gaming? Not sure how the input lag would be on COD or BF4. Appreciate your feedback. Thanks....
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I've got Xbox One and bought this tv about 4 days ago. I've only played Fallout 4 on it, but I can tell you that it has been amazing so far. My son has played BF4, and Rainbow 6 as well as a few others and has no negative comments so far. There is a "game" setting, but I haven't tried that yet. We've been playing with the tv at the standard settings. Hope that helps a bit.

Q: QuestionDifference Between 240 and 240HzI details state that this TV has 240 and not 240Hz motion refresh. I had read that 240 motion refresh was not as good as 240Hz, and to be careful when conducting a comparison. Is that true? Thank you in advance.
Asked by DRVanSickler.
- A:Answer This TV is 120hz 10 bit panel. No 4k TV has 240hz panel nor will there be any in 2015 from any manufacturer. The 240 motion refresh is a chip that will proccess it up to 240. Not sure what your trying to ask but refresh rate does not determine motion blur or image trailing. That is determined by led response time. The time it takes an led to change from one color to another. Check out rtings.com for response times.

Q: QuestionCan the HDMI hub cable be extended with a female to female HDMI connector? I need this cable to be 15+ feet. Any other suggestions?I'm running the cable through the wall to a media center that's 15 feet away but understand that the cable to the HDMI hub is only about 6 feet out of the box. Hoping I can just use a female/female connector and extend with another HDMI cable, but that will only be possible if the connection into the hub is HDMI. Open to other suggestions as well; maybe Samsung has a long cable available for these scenarios. Imagine they'd have thought about this one. Thanks in advance for the help/advice.
Asked by SomeGuy.
- A:Answer Buy a longer HDMI cable to avoid possible signal degredation.
