“Can the HDMI hub cable be extended with a female to female HDMI connector? I need this cable to be 15+ feet. Any other suggestions? I'm running the cable through the wall to a media center that's 15 feet away but understand that the cable to the HDMI hub is only about 6 feet out of the box. Hoping I can just use a female/female connector and extend with another HDMI cable, but that will only be possible if the connection into the hub is HDMI. Open to other suggestions as well; maybe Samsung has a long cable available for these scenarios. Imagine they'd have thought about this one. Thanks in advance for the help/advice.”

Buy a longer HDMI cable to avoid possible signal degredation.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can run an hdmi cable up to about 40 feet without any kind of booster. I have the exact same thing your trying to do now with two 10 foot HDMI cords and a female/female HDMI plug, works perfectly.

I think samsung sells an 8 foot cable but it's pricey. I put some Velcro down and attached the box to the back of the tv then ran my cables to it.
