Well you're paying for a better panel. 10bit panel vs a 8 bit. The SUHD also has Samsungs version of quantum dot (nano crystals). This technology is used for achieving a larger color spectrum. It is also HDR ready. I've also noticed that the 10 bit panels have lower motion blur. This is calculated by the led response time not refresh rate. It the time it takes an led to change from one color to another.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The S models have nano crystals for improved colors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The difference is....Picture quality..... If you don't care that much then opt for UHD....SUHD clarity is without question the best picture quality though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Contrast is more pronounced, making colors appear much richer and brighter. You can really tell the difference when viewing the same content on both TVs side by side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I was told that the SUHD model is new for 2015 and the UHD is the 2014 model. The "S" stands for "Super" UHD. Was told that smaller pixels were used for better color quality and resolution.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The 3D cost more but also the SUHD claims to have even more color resolution from sources that support it. The 3D feature is what is the primary difference in price.
