Hard to find words that can describe this TV. The sharpness, the color deepness the overall quality of the picture, it is unbelievable. Really happy with our choice.

By far the most beautiful television I own. I am something of a Samsung snob, but regardless of where you fall from a brand loyalty perspective it is hard to find fault with this set. Gorgeous 4K picture, competent audio, convenient cabling option, and a plethora of features. This set takes the cake, and with the price point diminishing, I may just buy more of these for other paerts of the house.

I have a 65 inch 8550 TV in my living room and I bought a 8500 for my bedroom because since I bought the one for my living room I stopped watching TV in my bedroom

Called Samsung for replacements and they charged $19.80 for four small screws that were undersized when I received them....I purchased four at Ace Hardware at $3.50

I checked many stores website. I checked just as many online reviews. When I did my final tally...BestBuy was the winner as far as sales price. Score one for me.

This was a salesmans recommended uprade from the set I planned to buy for the same price. This only negative was the silver color, and I've gotten used to that

I had been wanting to upgrade my home theater for years, and this open box deal was what made it possible. The picture is gorgeous and provides a very lifelike viewing experience compared to the black and white set it replaced. Also, I absolutely love the remote controller allowing me to change the channel and adjust the volume without getting up from the couch. Well worth waiting for!

An awesome tv for the price and with a 240 refresh rate. Most tv's in this price range only have a 120 refresh rate

Not that easy to set up. The hookups are not on the back of the set. DirecTv had to send out a seasoned serviceman to connect my Genie. All is working now.

This tv is awesome, it has a great picture and it also is user friendly!!!!

The ONLY reason I cannot give this monster of a TV five stars is because I haven't witnessed a super clean connection, in my home, yet. When replacing the cables, you might as well clean the fittings and such.

The quality of the picture seen in this TV is amazing. Amazing how much of a change there is in the experience of watching just regular programming now.

Lot of nice functionality. When I use Screen Mirroring the video will freeze after about 40 minutes, may have to call Samsung support. No other issues noticed at this time. I think this is a good TV, if I can figure out the video issue it will be a great TV.

I love the clarity of this television, but have not used the 3D feature as of this review so I cannot give the extra star until I have the chance to review the 3D feature. I also like the remote control, it's design and ridged construction. Doesn't feel cheap.

It's respectable, would have gotten the next size up on a do over, the picture quality on some broadcast tv shows remind me of a daytime soap opera. Only real problem I have with it is that the mounting screws were too short to connect into the bracket.

After only having the TV for 1 month the remote failed, the enter button doesn't do anything. I have contacted Samsung and they said they will send a new remote but haven't got it yet so we will see.

A very bright picture with good resolution. The remote that comes with it is silly IMO and awkward to use with few buttons and on screen menus, but it can still be used with an old regular Sammy remote or a programmable can be used for discrete commands.

Absolutely love the interactive menu/remote control. It is very user friendly. 4K SHUD TV (Model 8500) from Samsung surpasses my expectations!
