This set has the most clearest crisp sharp picture I've ever seen on a tv.The 3D feature is phenomenal. The contrast is impressive as well as the upscaling. I've tried the Samsung 2016 KS8500 as well as the JS9000. The JS8500 provides better picture quality. I highly recommend this set. You will not regret this purchase.

The tv has great picture quality but sometimes the tv will freeze or reset itself. Since I have no cable there's just the static screen right when I turn the tv on until I could get the smart hub to pop up to choose Netflix or Hulu. It lags most of the time before I could even choose smarthub or Netflix/Hulu. It needs work because it should not be glitching as a new tv and should have the option to have a smarthub page open when turning the tv on if cable is not present.

Really good tv to buy for family entertainment, has really nice features.

Great TV, amazing picture! Nice chrisp picture, awesome blacks and colors. Easy to use. Lots of nice features. When you first get it you might have to manually set up the remote. It is supposed to do it automatically but mine didnt. Spent 45 minutes till I decided to resync remote.

The tv itself is great. Picture quality is perfect. The smart apps are less than to be desired.

I did a lot of research on this purchase. Finally got this Samsung on sale and I'm glad I did. I like it very much, picture is great and features were all well rated.

The clarity of the picture degrades if not viewed directly in front of the screen. I imagine that they came up with the curved screen to help solve this problem. I view the TV from a 135 degree angle, (45 degrees from straight ahead.) I was sold this TV by the Samsung representative, Steven, and wished that he would have pointed out this problem. The picture quality is excellent when viewed directly in front of the set.

This is a beautiful tv.I bought this for a display at a show and everyone was very impressed.

So Panasonic plasma tv died and I needed a replacement. I went to Best Buy and look at the TVs and talk with the sales people. This TV was probably the closest thing to the plasma with the exception of the new OLED's. So I went for it and it has been a good TV

After about a week the color would start adjusting itself. We would select dynamic and while watching a show the color would dim and change to standard. Also, once we set it up for wireless it was good for about a week, but would lose connectivity while our cell phones were still connected to the wifi. One more thing is that it went on sale for almost $500 dollars less than what we paid for it literally 20 days after purchase!

I got my 55in JS8500 a couple of weeks ago and so far I am very impressed with the overall picture quality. I had a Panasonic ST60 plasma which had great blacks but this new Samsung has very good black levels imo. Colors are excellent and I have not noticed any obvious defects so far. 3D looks very good as well and I like the 4k streaming from Amazon-picture is very sharp. I am really impressed with how blurays look from my Oppo 105 using the 4k upconversion on the player. The Dark Knight was stunning with good blacks and deep colors. I almost got the LG 55in Oled(EF9500) but it was twice the price. My sales person at Magnolia Design was very good with the whole sales experience.

This Tv has a great picture quality. It is very easy to use and connect to cable.

We have had tv for a few months now. We absolutely love it. Had trouble at first on energy saver screen color. It would adjust with the lightening in the room, which was too dark for us. We set it and color is great all the time. Only drawback is the remote is VERY slimline and about the length of your hand. When you get used to remote it is ok. We have never had an HD tv before and really enjoy it.

This tv will amaze you. The quality of the picture, the sleek design, the studder reduction when watching sports is second to none. The blacks are super black, the colors are vivid and the sharpness of the shows or movies are exceptional!

I wanted a bigger screen with 4K technology from Samsung but couldn't afford it, But with sale and open box it was possible with opening Best Buy credit card with two years to pay. Picture is great and will get better when 4K is broadcasted.

I wanted the 48" version of this, but it was not in stock so I ended up with this 55" TV. The ONLY reason I bought this model was for the PIP. I bought this 2015 model in 2016 because the PIP is simply disappearing. As of yet I have not figured out how to swap the two pictures that are displayed in the PIP mode. The remote is worthless. No button pad for changing channels. At this time my cable is straight out of the wall through coax. The tuner sees all the channels, however it separates them into "air" and "cable" channels and makes two separate channel lists. So if I want to go from chan 32 to chan 17-1, I must change broadcast mode from cable to air, then I can change to the channel I want. My Vizio has no such issue, all channels are in the channel list. I really wish there was a choice to simply buy a TV. I had no need for a "smart" TV, but that is what is on the market. The Samsung is overpriced, but I knew that going in. I wanted PIP while I could still get it. I just hope I am able to find how to get to PIP pictures to swap. If not, it was a waste of money getting this overpriced TV.

Tv is awesome. Remote sucks. I'd give it 5 stars if the remote didn't suck.
