Had Best Buy deliver and install this tv. Wow!!! The picture quality is incredible. Very bright and glossy. The "sports" setting is very bright and may be too bright for some people but still very cool. Set up is also incredibly easy. Lastly, in looking at the limited selection of 4K on Netflix or YouTube videos, I can truly see what makes this tv great. 4K picture quality is outstanding! Well worth the purchase price

Went to Bestbuy looking for a Samsung 55" 7100 series and the guy at Bestbuy showed me this 8500. It was actually $100 cheaper and better that the 7100. Out of the box the picture is excellent. Very happy that the guy showed me this one. The 3D is great! Playing video games (black ops 3, etc) is awesome. Fantastic detail and no blurry for fast movement. The smart remote is really cool. Watching cable tv shows has improve in this tv. Does a really great Job upscaling.

Very Happy with this purchase, Very pristine and vibrant colors and clarity especially with high definition material. the 3-d experience is very nice as well, only thing the tv lacks in is playing older file types as in xvid format (shows pixelation)etc... but not the tvs fault, its just meant more for playing high def formats, but overall definitely would buy again

This is one of the best tvs out there. The only tv better that I didn't discover till after i got this is the OLED tv. This tv probably takes second place, and all other tvs are far below these. My sister complained about the tv having a silver rim, and I suppose black looks more sleek, but the colors and 3D depth are so amazing, they match plasma's amazing displays. This is also a great deal for what you're getting! If you want a 4K tv, and can't afford the OLED, you better get this one, or else settle for something much more subpar.

This TV is beautiful, except for the fact that there are faint white lines across the screen when displaying 3D content. At first I thought I just had a defective unit, and so I exchanged it. The replacement had the same issue. A Samsung repair technician came out and looked at it. He said that the TV was "within spec," meaning the issue was not a malfunction; it's normal for the model. I find it quite disappointing that such an expensive model has such a glaring "normal" defect. I would recommend buying from a different manufacturer if you're planning on watching 3D movies.

Very impressed after 7 months of use. The color is fantastic and the 4k content on Netflix is amazing. It does a great job upscaling my 1080p content too.

This was the best TV for 2015. I am sure it would be a more than acceptable TV in 2016 as well. Once the OLED prices start dropping, probably this TV would have serious competition. For now though this the most bang for your buck you can get.. everything included (LG/ Vizio users might not agree!)

This is the best 4K TV I have bought. The picture quality is amazing and it is very easy to use. I definitely would recommend this TV to anyone looking for a great 4K TV.

All online reviews are spot on. Nano crystal makes the display bright and default settings are nothing but spectacular. Pity I had to return it because of the very reflective coating on screen, which made it hard to watch because of the windows/blinds on other side of the room otherwise I would have kept it. Smart hub is fast and very intuitive. I dont care too much for the One Connect box being another attachment to the screen.

Absolutely love the picture quality and colors. Smart tv and remote took a few days to figure it out but I love it now! Highly recommend!!

The 55" SUHDTV is amazing paired with a the Denon AVR-X4000 receiver. As for anyones complaints about the remote get a Harmony Touch remote, Because this TV needs a good sound system with it to bring the audio to life with the picture.

This TV Samsung - 55 "Class (54.6" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 3D - 4K Ultra HD TV - Silver has a high price ($ 1,999.99). I bought the same TV twice and twice I had to return. The remote control very difficult. The Wi-Fi system is unstable and not work regularly. This is the biggest problem. It is a very unstable TV.

Love the tv. Surprised how much we are enjoying the 3D feature. Watching Hockey in Sports mode is also great. Brightens up the viewing.

Good picture quality but not as good as in the store but still better than anything else. Problems when I change channels the sound may not work so need to change channels and than back again. Have 5 year geek squad on the TV so will have them come out to look at it. Other than sound problems it is ok

The performance and quality of the TV is everything I was hoping for from my 4K television. That said, I'm a little frustrated by the lack of an HBO Now app. This smart tv already has HBO Go available, and 2016+ models have HBO Now available, so the decision not to support 2015 smart tvs with this app seems a little arbitrary.
