Excellent picture quality and easy to set up with the one remote. We have Direct TV HD and when watching sporting events its like sitting in the front row. Best Buy delivery team was great.

We could not be happier with this purchase. The picture on this TV is amazing. So clear and the colors are so vibrant. It's like your there on set or at the game in the middle of the action.

The picture is so clear that you truly believe the people on the screen are in the room with you. The downside is that you need to use both the Samsung remote and AT&T universal remote.

I originally went to buy a Sony 4k tv until the sales associate highly recommended this one. Just looking at the picture quality alone I knew it was the route I wanted going to go. Great purchase, the picture quality is great out of the box; the only downfall is this tv makes normal HD tvs look horrible.

So far, I've had this TV for a little over a month. The picture is amazing, although I with there were more 4k sources available to truly take advantage. Videos are VERY fluid (animated movies on blu-ray look stunning) and the audio id great too. My only gripe is that in 3D mode, I get a little bit of inconsistency where the 2 images don't merge properly and some elements in the picture suffer from double-image issues. For example, In Tangled 3d, in a scene where Rapunzel is in her tower, she would look great in 3d, while the stove behind her has a double image effect. When I try to adjust the 3D depth, the stove in the background would look great, but then Rapunzel would have the double image effect. This may be cause by either the TV or the PS3 (my 3d blu-ray player), I'm unsure which is causing the issue. Unfortunately, I haven't tried any other 3d sources to troubleshoot further (I should try the 3DGo service) but overall it's not a big issue as I'm still able to enjoy 3D movies with only a few occasional visual hickups. In 2D mode, this TV is pure WOW!

I love this TV. The picture is incredible. And we have been impressed with the 3D images. We have Direct Tv and they were able to connect with no problem because the RVU is built in.

The Samsung 55" SUHD TV is great. Great picture, great color, fast response to remote. I have it tied into to DISH Hopper 3 and they work great together!!! Very good price also.

The picture quality and color of this are excellent. My only complaints would be the glare I get off of the screen. 4k video looks amazing on it, but 4k content is still limited. Full HD videos still look nice but you do notice a difference. But for the most part I am very happy with my purchase.

We highly recommend this TV. We have had a 55" Samsung TV in our family room for a couple of years that we love. This new model we purchased for the living room is even better. The color is crisp and even. The picture quality is fantastic. We have several windows in the living room and there is no problem with glare. And we like the way it interfaces with the blue ray player. Sound is good, better with speakers.

Overall it is quite satisfying. The picture quality is amazing, very crisp and clear. My only negative comment is the sound quality was a bit disappointing, I had high hopes for it. The volume is good, what I have an issue with is the pitch. I've tried all the settings and it never sounds quite right to me. (But I recommend you try it as it could sound fine to you). The remote is pretty simple, sleek. I found it very easy to use. The TV has great features and the 3D quality is worth watching.

I'm very happy with this purchase! The picture quality is great and 4K is just as good as the Best Buy showroom picture when watching programs on Netflix! The Samsung remote does take a bit of getting used to but at the end of the day it's not a big deal because we all use the cable remote for everything anyway. Don't be afraid to pull the trigger on this tv! You will def get your money's worth!

Haven't got a chance to enjoy all of the features of this TV however so far everything works as expected and picture quality especially the black level is fantastic. The remote however is small and the pointer especially isn't easy to use (doesn't stay active long enough),

Top notch in all ways. The silver lining adds a real quality feel to the item. The image is mind-blowing. Was deciding between this 55" and a cheaper 60" Samsung 4K TV that was a year older. Went with this one because of the newer processor and the tech mentioned it has deeper/truer blacks. No regrets. The TV I took home did have a major crack in the screen, but I brought it back and Best Buy had another one in stock (fortunately), and exchanged it without a fuss.

Replaced a gen 1 Samsung with this model. Love it. The 240 refresh rate even looks good on non HD programming. TV was easy to set up and use. The remote only has a few buttons. The smart box is convenient and all my wires are hidden now. All your inputs, tuner, game systems, cable box/dvr, all plug into a central box that can be located in a separate location. There is only one cable from the TV to this hub. Allowed me to organize all my TV inputs. I researched this model for about 2 months. A coworker and a relative purchased before I did. When I saw it, WOW. Mind made up.

The image clarity, color, and pixel definition are so clear on this flat screen that you feel that you have a third dimension of depth (like the 9000 curved screen version portrays). I really like the smart box and even the (optical and toggle) remote to control the various inputs.The smart box will sense an input that wants attention, such as a Blu-ray when you load a disc It also manages a home theatre receiver (on/off/volume) with the smart remote. Having cable TV, I have chosen to use the cable controller for channel selection, but the smart remote controls the volume. The TV speakers are really very good for most viewing, but they can't compete with a home theatre system for movies (sound bar in the middle). I had figured that the internet and Netflix connection might be a potential weakness with this unit, before buying the UN55JS8500. Fortunately, it is not. It is a very solid and responsive connection (no drops) with a simple menu. The other important feature that I looked for was image quality upscale from HD television, Blu-ray, and DVD. This is real, and you think you are viewing something close to 4K until you start inspecting for whisker definition. I don't mind the blacks not being pure as with the OLED. Star Wars outer space still looks black without question. Haven't used the 3D effect, and maybe never will with the hassle of glasses.

My wife and I were searching for the right television for close to a year. We even purchased a 60" Vizio, but after struggling with dead pixels, dirty screen effect, and unhelpful customer service, we were finally able to return it. We just wanted a good quality tv for our personal and entertaining needs. When we walked into Best Buy, the sales associate heard our story and immediately pointed us to this tv. He was spot on! After having it for a couple of months, we will never be switching brands again. AWESOME detail and quality, and the best tv we have ever owned.

I saved my funds for several months before I purchased this TV. I wanted the newest TV available. I got this TV because it was released in 2015 and had all the features I was looking for. The one negative is the remote. The sound and closed captioning buttons are on the side therefore I am always hitting these buttons when I don't want to since I don't use them due to the sound bar.
