This Samsung js8500 has exceeded my expectations . I actually went in to Best Buy to purchase a different Television,but once I saw in person the Samusngs beautiful display I was sold. The 4k content I've been able to watch is unbelievable and it actually feels like you there!! I mainly use my Television for movies and gaming and I'm extremly satisfied with my decision.

I bought this tv to mainly use for gaming. The color and picture quality is great, the tiny details in my games are crisp and the colors are saturated. Has great black saturation. Easy to set up, I love that the 'brains' of the tv are separated so you can easily upgrade in a few years without having to purchase a new screen.

Great television. Beautiful picture. Very easy to set up tv. Not thrilled with the remote that comes with the tv. Very few buttons and weird shape.

After review with many online sources and with the recommendation of Best Buy, I purchased this TV. I have found it to give stunning pictures and I love the Movies in both regular and in HD. It is super easy to use and I love the small but complete remote control. The Sound is great although I purchased a sound bar to give me better support for bass volumes. Video Games with my XBOX One are incredibly realistic and look great. I love this TV.

This TV has a great picture. I owned it for eight days and did the software update, some how the update didn't install correctly. Between Geek Squad and Samsung the problem was handled perfectly. I am back to enjoying the bigger screen TV. I love Samsung products. This is the first time any of my Samsung products have had an issue and they were fast with delivery of new parts. GEEK squad was prompt. I am at this point very sastified.

Love the new TV. Crisp picture and easy to use. Only wish it came with more than 1 pair of 3D glasses

Picture is really great for most channels. Near 4k quality on discovery, animal planet, national geo. However sports are still a bit grainy but has to do with cable provider. Happy with this tv for the most part. 3d function is somewhat cool as well.

great picture and can view in 3D - looked at a lot of TVs and this was the best at a good price.

Good upscale of HD content. HDMI hub is a plus. Remote is ok and not user friendly. prefer using samsung player remote with soft keys.

Thisw TV gets a great picture, but the remote is not even random access (no numbers). Also, you only get one pair of 3D glasses.

After research on line and seeing the picture in person I was sure this was the TV i wanted. I shopped three retailers in person and two online. I chose Best Buy because of the salesman's product knowledge of the product and relating that to my needs and the installation process (not easy as this was above a fireplace). All went smoothly and we couldn't be more pleased with the install and product.

I was upgrading from a Samsung UN55D6000, which I loved, and wanted to try out the Sony X850C. What a mistake. I went back to Samsung and got the UN55JS8500. This set is just amazing. The picture quality is top notch and the sound is not too bad for a very thin TV. I am extremely happy with this TV and got it for a great deal in the right time. I just wish the bezel was a bit thinner. Overall A+

This tv has amazing picture quality. I bought it for the 3D feature but have yet to try it out. Lots of apps to choose from.

I took many hours of review on line and looked at the picture in the store for a very long time. Mainly cause I am very particular. The only reason I bought this was the sale price and bright picture due to the 4K. All the department stores basically lie to you. In the store they have TV set up to give you the ultimate picture quality. When the TV is set up at home, it is a different story. It took me about 30 mins, but I also know what I am doing. Next the picture quality is not and never will be as good as in the store. No Networks are transmitting 1080P. Most are transmitting 720, eventhough the FCC approved 1080P. It all has to do with money and bandwithe. I know the next question is would I recommend a friend. I never recommend a friend on anything. Everybodys taste is different.

I was going to choose between the un55ju7500 or this tv the un55js8500. I'm so glad I choose this one the picture quality is superior over the non SUHD models the upscale does an excellent job turning regular hd to near 4K. Watched batman return on Amazon prime in the picture looked better then a blu-ray way to go Samsung!!!!!

This is an awesome Smart TV. Excellent picture and easy to use. Use high-end hdmi cables for the best quality picture.
