    Purchased both washer dryer little pricey but loved the fact it had two washers and dryers:) steam and bedding and larger basin. Our delivery & installation experience- 1st deliver dryer was damaged by forklifts. Took week for another. Keep in mind we are on propane so it took them most expensive $254.00 dollar adapter that was required. Not including installation. We had no choice:( It's wash time! So here it goes! We continue to use them till we received another one. After use of all modes let's start with the Washer- seems to leave clothes soaked in normal mode and heavy duty requires extra spin. Not yet to see any modes spin tight. To wash a load of clothes in normal mode and the extra hot water extra high spin it takes 1:46:( that's crazy! To sanitize steam 2:48 with pre soak its 3:23hr this is ridiculous. I am unsure how much water usages this beast takes! So much for energy efficiency. Didn't take long but it threw off its first code less than a week. Per manual points to drain pipe not being installed to ground after troubleshooting manual. So are they installed wrong??? No one has answers since they are to new! Oh let me mention the drain pipe notice in pic where ours is located. Also the pipes do not fit so the installer had to drill out a larger hole. Now for dryer- worst dryer ever! Takes 2 cycles to dry 8 pairs of jeans. The pockets were slightly damp. This too on heavy duty taking 1:16h so calculate that time! I did the bedding mode for a king size blanket. Took 6 cycles to dry taking 1:38 each Absolute crazy! The clothes have a cooling cycle and the clothes are not hot when they get out of dryer just slightly warm. This applies to both dryer's same performance. They thought it was due the probability of propane... it's besides me since all other front loaders we owned worked perfectly fine. Now let's talk about top washer and dryer. Only reason it was purchased for to wash the delicate wear. Works great! It seems the barrel shakes like it's out of alignment for minute every cycle I have used and is loud. The pitfall is manufacture do not have a compartment for detergent. The provide a rubber triangle to put in basin. What happens if this gets damaged or lost? As far as the app they are way behind on technology with a house that is all wifi/ Bluetooth wireless technology. They won't sync! My take is what's the point if we can't be home to do laundry! Just to alarm me I'll pass! They look great but looks like Samsung needs to work on associate training and provides support for theses. Needless to say is it worth spending $3500.00 vs going back to dials and simple machines? More than likely I will probably spend half of this! So there is schedule pick up on these this week! Back to shopping! Oh wait lastly the clothes smell great and seems to clean pretty good it's too bad! I need propane too! Stick to tvs Samsung!

    We have had several problems with this machine over the years with moderate use. I will second the other reviewers LC1 and 1LC1 issues as a major headache. Also, when this happens, you have to get behind the thing (very inconvenient) and unplug it up or it will just turn itself back on and start beeping at you. The 'smart features' are not that smart. You have to enable them before each load as they automatically disable themselves. Now, after less than 4 years, a bearing has gone out and the Samsung technician has quoted the repair cost to be almost $200 more than it would cost for the same machine new.

    Works great ... except for the leaks and flooding

    We bought this in 2017. It looks great and mostly cleans our clothes, but it started leaking out the front -- we had to put down a towel and a pot to try to catch the leakage. Then we noticed the damage to the walls in the laundry room -- seems that it's been leaking out of the bottom toward the back, where we couldn't see it. Repairs cost about half the original purchase price (not including the water damage to the walls). Repairman said he has to fix a lot of Samsungs. Kind of expect a washer this expensive to work for more than three years. (As a side note, the matching dryer now sounds like a jet is taking off in our laundry room, so we'll need to get that one repaired as well.)

    Love this washer and dryer. It makes it so safe and easy to wash delicate items that I otherwise would have to wash by hand. And the dryer allows me to safely dry bras and toys minimizing funky smells from so drying. Love it!!!

    Best Buy Protection Plan Beware !!!!

    The protection plan I purchased from Best Buy a few years ago was intended to cover this product for five years. When the product previously malfunctioned, the Geek Squad advised me to utilize the manufacturer's warranty first, with the understanding that my Best Buy protection plan would then take effect upon its expiration. Recently, the same product experienced another issue. However, I was informed that the five-year Best Buy protection plan had already expired. The explanation provided was that the manufacturer's warranty period ran concurrently with the Best Buy protection plan, effectively reducing the duration of my purchased plan by the length of the manufacturer's coverage. It appears that the benefit of the Best Buy protection plan I purchased has been diminished due to the existence of the manufacturer's warranty, suggesting that I paid for overlapping coverage for the initial period.

    Bad product. Stay away! Expensive and bad quality.

    I bought this 3 years ago. I chose what I thought would be the best washer and drier out there. I’m a big fan of Samsung products but I have to say that they failed when they made these machines. They look amazing, I love the flex wash but they are really expensive and the washer does not last. My old set was a Whirlpool and I had them for over 10 years and they still worked great when I retired them for these. What a mistake! I get all kinds of error messages, there’s an extremely loud bang when the clothes are spinning and now it won’t complete the cycle. Couldn’t be more frustrated with this Samsung product. I paid for a repair company to fix it and they replaced the tub, the mother board, along with other parts and problem is still there. I do not recommend this product!

    This washer is awesome. The options are nice. I have no complaints about my clothes. But... it is ridiculously loud. Don’t even think about washing your clothes at night when people are trying to sleep. Or watch tv in any room that’s close to this machine.

    CAUTION!!! This a very expensive mistake

    This washer cannot get your clothes clean in the bottom washwer. The bottom washer does not put enough water into the drum. The top washer though, fills to almost over flowing, but you can only do a pound of laundry at a time in the top washer. At $1800+-, this is crazy expensive to not work. To mitigate the bottom washer problem you will need add approximately, depending on the load size, for a normal load of 6 lbs, 54 additional liters of water. How do you know to measure? I put 40 1.36 liter bottles of water in every load, this is the size of the Tide + Downy bottle. I you don't do this, you will get an error that there is not enough water. This happens on the wash and rinse cycles. There are a lot of work arounds on the in internet for the older samsung models but not this one. This problem is the same issue, but the water level pressure switch for the bottom washer, is not in any of the obvious places. Don't buy this washer!

    Will not buy a Samsung washer ever again. After 4 years of gentle use (small family) washer stopped working, not draining properly leaving clothes wet. Best Buy tech identified problem as bad bearings and bad motherboard. Non repairable and online search shows parts not available from Samsung or third parties. Had a dismal experience with Geek Squad Protection, which I will post separately. Will never buy a Samsung again. Do you research on brand reliability, sorry I didn't.

    Endless Problems- Design Flaws

    Overall, endless problems, from leaking, 3 motherboards, draining detergent and softener before wash started, and now extremely load when spinning. Thankfully we purchased the Best Buy warranty because we had repair technicians from Geek Squad at our home on a regular basis for almost two years. It would work okay and then start having issues once again, and the problem of it releasing the detergent and softener was never fixed. After two years of calling and getting it fixed we finally got a replacement credit and we are not getting another Samsung. Samsungs are decent but get a regular front or top loading washer and don’t buy these flex wash ones, they need to fix their design flaws and make it actually work. Might have have been a lemon but it was not worth it whatsoever.

    Avoid Samsung appliances, service nightmares!

    So I bought this fancy washer along with the fancy dryer for $3,000 and for the most part it has worked OK up until recently when the upper washer wouldn't drain anymore (the dreaded error code 15C, google it, you'll find plenty of reasons to not by a Samsung washer). As the washer was less then a year old this was concerning but fortunately it is still under warranty. Dealing with Samsung support is where your nightmares start. They do some basic troubleshooting over the phone and then say they will have to call you back to either triage or schedule an appointment. I called them several times and always got the same "someone will call you at some point, that's all we can tell you". So I waited and waited and Samsung never called, they kept promising I would get a call today but by 6pm that never happened and I suspect I wouldn't get a call until next week at the earliest. Finally after one time calling one of the guys said oh, you've never called in for service before on that unit, we can schedule something for you. Now why the heck didn't you do that originally it should have been very obvious from the serial # of the unit it has never been serviced. From that point I got the run around some more, they said someone from the service dept (apparently an outside company) will call you. It now being Friday and nothing open until presumably Tuesday (Mon is a holiday) means I'll be without a washer for probably a week or more. I also googled the service company they said would be contacting me and they had about 100 Yelp reviews related to Samsung and most of them were 1 star. Well that will give me plenty of time to go shop for a new washer dryer set and unload these Samsung units on some other poor sucker. On a side note I had an experience with another brand TV I bought from Best Buy as well recently and their service was fantastic. I definitely won't be buying a Samsung TV in the future and probably not their phones anymore as well.

    Samsung Service is Terrible

    I have had this for 6 months, and while the washer was good, the top washer had a loose gasket. I called Samsung, and they recommended warranty repair. Samsung contracts out the work to Dish Installers...yes, the same guys that install satellite dishes. Turns out they have no clue what they are doing. Go figure. Dish came one afternoon, spent several hours and couldn't fix it. They needed more parts and were supposed to come back the next day. They were 3 hours late, and then spent 7 1/2 hours trying to fix it, but still didn't fix it. Then they told me I could only use the top washer to wash a single pair of socks at a time. Ridiculous! I called Samsung customer support located over seas and the woman told me that the repair person was correct in only being able to wash a single pair of socks. I have now wasted several days and still don't have a functioning top washer. Unfortunately this is another example of terrible manufacturing with even worse customer support. I know all of this done to save costs, but the old adage of you get what you pay for is clearly incorrect with Samsung.

    I have had this washer almost 3 years and from the time I got it, I knew I’d wasted my money. This is by far the absolute worst washer I’ve ever bought. Just took a load from the dry of my 1 year olds clothes and almost all of the still have simple stains on them. This is common for this washer though. That washing mechanism they chose for the model is not Efficient in anything besides the appearance and the idea of the product. It indeed is very fancy looking but don’t expect a good wash. I have to put my whites on the 3 hour (almost 3 hours)cycle to make sure they are clean and to make sure the residue, bleach and detergent are fully rinsed out. I also don’t like the “water efficient” washers. The just get the clothes soggy then toss it left to right. I prefer my clothes to be tossed in water while cleaning. I spent so much on this washer I just can’t imagine spending anymore money for another. If I do it will be the old school top load type with a modern design without all these efficiency features. Though the double washer is quite convenient, I would still absolutely NOT recommend this washer to anybody unless you just want something cute like I did.

    Good washer but we've had too many problems

    We've had 3-4 different issues with our machine. Best Buy geek squad came out and fixed most of it. The biggest issue is the top washer leaks, best buy won't fix it or replace it. So frustrated that we stopped using the top washer, it's pointless. I wouldn't recommend this washer to anyone.

    Too many problems

    I had to replace this washer as soon as the delivery men dropped it off. It was defective. Once it was replaced, i didnt have any major issues. I reveived a few error codes but nothing that i coudnt fox myself. 4 years later, the whole washing machine gave out. I bought a protection plan so they sent someone out to fix it. He ordered several repair parts but it was not fixable. It’s been such a headache. I’ve heard from multiple people that the flex wash system is the worst to get.

    Love the Washing Machine but there are some Cons

    This washing machine has saved me so much time washing and your clothes come out clean, BUT it is a pain having to clean filters. The top filter is not bad you just it pull out and clean but for the front load you have to get on the floor, drain any excess water before you can clean the filter. Luckily you only have to clean it like every 20 loads depending on what you're washing. Also, being I'm 5'1", when I lean in to get the clothes from the top load, I sometimes shut off the washer for the front load with my breast. LOL But overall, I really do like my washer. It's done in half the time it use to take.
