Samsung's FlexWash; Washer provides the ultimate washing flexibility, with two separately controlled washers in the same unit, so you can wash different types of laundry at the same time.
A: The problem is with the favric sofner dispenser overflowing and leaking. Ive had the same problem for 4 months and Samsung juat keeps giving the run around. It seems like its a manufacturer flaw. You can still use the bottom washer if you unplugg it...remove the back panel and manually dry the area where the sensor is just dont use the top washer or ir will do it again. I gave up and finally decided to use my geek squad insurance after 4 or 5 calls. Best Buy will replace the machine but now I have to purchase appliance insurance agajn when it shouldve bee samsung replacing it for free. I do not recommend and I will not buy again.
A: LC1 and LC1 problem: I read a previous response and then tried it. It WORKED After reading the manuals and trying various fixes, one response said to "tip your washer forward for 2 minutes" and it will clear out your codes. Sure enough it worked. The errors disappeared and My Samsung flex wash is working now. To tip the machine forward you have to get behind it. There is no way to "pull it forward". When I tipped it forward a small puddle of water appeared.at the base. I thought I was wasting my time trying this because never adds "softener" to her wash. I thought I would be wasting my time unless I let the machine dry for a few hours after tipping it over. The maching worked immediately after tipping it over. it seems the sensor wasn't just wet, it had been in a puddle of water. But why did the problem develop if Lyn never uses water softener and used the SAME amount of detergent the 100 times she has used the upper washer. The problem was probably this: she didn't close the lid tightly! You might be thinking, "if you don't close the lid tightly, it won't run to begin with. Probably not true. After 100 washes the lid closing sensor gets fooled. It senses the lid is closed tight when it actually isn't closed tight, and let's you start the wash. After the wash starts the lid opens a tiny bit more and produces a pool of water around the 1LC1 and LC1 sensors. I provided this thorough response as a show of gratitude towards others who have taken the trouble to help, to my benefit. Being persistent paid off today. Bye and thanks.
Q: Does this front load washer end up getting the musty odor that front loads tend to have?
A: I think they all do. I do see water standing in the inner seal after washing and I'm going to keep it wiped down and dry after using the machine to try to see if I can avoid the musky order that is common in front olad washing machines. ( I have had 3 front load washing machines and they all seem to get that odor.) It has a water drain at the base to drain any water that may build up which should help. It also has a filter at the bottom you can clean so I'm hoping it sol
A: It is a very gentle washer and works wonders. It is very short and does not have an agitator that sticks up, there are ridges on the bottom of it. I love it.
A: That doesn't look good. I'd like to know what they did to correct or replace the unit. Considering buying, but this will definitely keep me from doing so. Don't want the hassle.
A: Performance is excellent, actually a pleasure to do laundry. Have had less than a month so can't speak to long term reliability, the Samsung dryer we had prior to this purchase was reliable. The soap side of the solutions tray is removable for cleaning, the liquid bleach and fabric softener trays are not removable but are easy to access.
Q: Do the top washer and dryer have lights???
A: No the top washer and dryer don't have a light. The light is only on the bottom portion of each machine.
A: The dimensions of the washer is 27”s wide (the front) by 34”s deep. It will fit through 31.5 opening front or back first.
