High End Washer Died after 3 years 10 months

It died after 3 years and 10 months. Repair bill would be $800 as pump and control boards went out. We did not buy the extended warranty but wish we had. Opted to replace it with a Whirlpool high efficiency high capacity top loader for about the same cost of repairing the Samsung.

Dryer stopped working March 12, 2022

Look but leave your money in your wallet!

Sadly it will soon crush your soul as the quality is not there. I have had the machine for approximately 5 months now and have had problem after problem. My personal favorite is the error code LC1 which it proudly displays with an alarm until you unplug it. After long, long calls with Samsung which include sending pictures and videos of things that a technician should really come out and do, they conclude that "there is water someplace there should not be". Well seeing as how it is leaking I would assume so. They decide to send a tech which was only available 5 weeks from call which meant lots of laundry in the waiting. It was "repaired" only to have to it happen again, same story. New tech claims it to too much soap being used. I do fill the dispenser to the MAX line on large loads. I was then told that the MAX line is wrong and I should only use 2 Tablespoons of liquid soap. Apparently that's all it can handle without springing a leak. A first you may once again be excited as wow, a bottle of detergent will last you all year. Your excitement will quickly diminish once you realize that 2 tablespoons of soap really doesn't do much in the way of cleaning your clothes, but it does make the washer happy. Curious indeed. So stay tuned for the next call, but until then, buy anything BUT this washer.

Great when it works, but lots of service issues

We've only had it for 8 months and have had 3 times when the doors both lock and give an error code with constant beeping. The drainage pumps seem to have an issue on this model. Samsung service has been worthless and very difficult to contact. I would not recommend this to anyone until Samsung sorts out its quality and service issues.

They have replace every part on it except the wiring harness? That is scary— a short? For a $1400 machine this is discussing......

Top washer has serious design flaw, will overflow.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We got ours replaced in 2020 to fix a design flaw, months later it obviously wasn't fixed. If you wash in both the top and bottom at the same time when the top one goes into rinse and spin cycle it will sometimes overflow the softener compartment. This happens even when there is literally nothing in there and hasn't overflown for the entire week previously so it's clearly not "clogged"

Waste of money, Error prone machine that locks up!

This washer will lock up and show a 1LC1 error code that will shut the entire washer down. You can unplug it for 2 days and let the sensor dry, but you can't get it looked at by a tech. Thats because BestBuy and Samsung will only give you the run around, never mind any customer satisfaction or loyalty that ends right when you walk out their door. We've had this washer for less than a year, and it locks up at least 2 times a month. Both times, our clothes end up damp and nasty smelling since you have to wait 2 days to use the washer again. Before anyone asks also, yes we checked how much softener we used. We even tried not using softener at all, and it will still lock up. This is a horrible design, that neither Samsung or BestBuy will help you with if it ends up breaking down like ours. We now have the option of buying another washer, that we just bought not even a year ago. Or pay out of pocket for repairs, cause we can't seem to get any help from either parties.

Catastrophic failure at 12 months and 20 days

Samsung said they would offer zero support and I had to buy a new washer at full price. Luckily I had geek squad protection and it will be a full replacement at no cost to me, but I would not buy another Samsung laundry product after this. The tech let me know this is a common issue with these washers.

Washer failed just over 3 years into service in ho

Hyst past Samsung warranty its bearing went put and that was it. Good news .. Best Buy warranty really was and still is an extra good choice to add on and pay for. They came out for service, diagnosed, couldnt repair, so offered a replacement washer for me to obtain.

Samsung phones good, Samsung washer, BAD.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.about the worst washer, you can pay money for it, Washes ok, but ours came already broken and found out it was 3 yrs old when installed. Best Buy had to call Samsung to verify it was new. the whole top washer had to be replaced. It's noisy and always has some sort of error code, the filter plugs easily and the position of the filter is a total afterthought as you can even fit a cookie sheet below the drain unless you raise the washer with an airbag. It's a couple of years old now and the top washer door latch won't read correctly, disabling the top washer. Hoping the washer is still covered under the extended warranty.

We tried to get them repaired but sourcing parts from Samsung is not easy and had to just buy a new set (NOT SAMSUNG). $4K down the drain buying high end appliances. DO NOT BUY.

Buy an LG

I have only had it for two months and already had to have it repaired for leaking (read other reviews). Save yourself time and buy an LG. I had a newer LG that wouldn't fit in my new home, so I had to buy this machine. I have hated it since day one. Best Buy won't return it because I have had it over 30 days, which is disappointing. I will buy from Costco next time.

A water leaking piece of junk
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had Best Buy do a professional install and tried to run my first load of laundry using both top and bottom machines. 5 minutes in to the wash, my floor was flooded with water. Inspected all connections and everything was great. Called Best Buy to get the issue resolved and are making me wait a week for send a technician out. Do yourself a favor and stay away at all costs.

We are very frustrated with Samsung service. We, like many others, work for a living and can't be home for a repairman to come during the day so we finally got connected with a serviceman who can come when I am home, 5 days after the thing broke.

Design flaw will make the top washer unusable
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It might work fine for a little while, but there is a serious design flaw with these washers. They are very problematic with the fabric softener dispenser overflowing. This sends water down the inside of the washer triggering a leak detection sensor. You then have to either wait days for the water to evaporate, or tilt the 400+ lbs washer to drain the water out. Some only have this issue once in a while, others have it all of the time. I cannot use my top washer at all. It doesn't matter if you use fabric softener or not for this issue to occur. Samsung has been no help to many with the issues. Don't believe me? Google "Samsung Flexwash wv60m9900 softener overflow". Or Google Samsung Flexwash and error code LC1 or error code 1LC1.
