Began squeaking at 14 months after purchase. Samsung said tough luck and I'd have to pay for service. Also had a service tech sent out one other time for another issue which was a pain. Would not buy again, two issues in just over a year.

Great dryer! Clothes come out dry and wrinkle free.

While this dryer works great when it’s running, however, it has been rather inconsistent. Thank god we got the geek squad coverage, as long as THEY stand behind their work! We will see!

I have owned this dryer only a couple years and I've already had the heating element go out and the bearings! This is unacceptable for a product to not last more than a few years! I would not waste your time on this product as it won't last you and Samsung does nothing to help it's customers in repairing their crappy products.

I love technology.. But maybe we should leave the technology leaders to making gadgets vs appliances. The washer constantly left soap swirls in the middle of the drum. Clothes always (100% of the time) have to be rewashed. If I WANT HOT WATER, I should be able to select HOT and not the machine decide what HOT actually means (which is barely lukewarm) I cannot recommend this washing machine to ANY busy household. Feature sets and cycles aside, dont have time to wash clothes twice. Yes, Correct HA detergents were used, and many brands attempted.

I wonder if I'll still get Best Buy points after this review. The dryer makes a thump thump noise even with no load. I called Best Buy 3 weeks after it was delivered and because I didn't purchase their geek squad coverage, there was nothing they could do. "Call the manufacturer." I called them and they're sending out somebody with a new drum next week. We'll see if it fixes it. I can't recommend the Samsung dryer and I can't recommend Best Buy because you have 15 days people! After that you're on your own. I gave it 2 stars because it looks nice

Have dryer for over one month and still isn't hooked up. Driver said they don't do hook ups so I am now waiting for hook up appointment. Spoke with customer service again yesterday???

I purchase this dryer as open box, the dryer was fine, then we had a little trouble with it try to returned it to store it was a pain, going back and forth, don't buy open items

I loved the interface of the machine and the look, but didn't feel like it got my clothes as clean as other machines. Returned for the Samsung front loader instead.

I have had NOTHING but issues since I bought this dryer. On my 4th time having the Geek Squad come to my home next week. Heating element blew 3 times and now there is something wrong with the belt and it has a high pitch whistle. I will NEVER by this dryer again.

I would give less than a 1 star but it wasn't an option. Bought this dryer with matching washer in fall of 2015. 2 weeks after warranty expired, had issue with dryer. Small plastic piece that cost 8.00 to replace but required us to remove the whole drum to replace it. Previous one had melted and cause drum not to turn. Who puts a plastic piece that will melt in a hot dryer? Now to the matching washing machine, I had notice a brown residue at the bottom of the drum that left stains all over my clothes. I at this point have run over 15 cleaning cycles; jet clean cycles, put vinegar rinse in it and used a product made for cleaning machines. All to no avail; it just keeps getting worse and worse. Samsung is no help; I have read all the online forums with people having same issue. All said they couldn't get it clean no matter what they did and others took drum out to find mold all over the machine that could not be removed. I will tell you, I do not even wash 20 loads of laundry a month, yet have used the self cleaning and jet cleaning cycle regularly at least once a month. And still I have the issue. This will be the last Samsung product I purchase.

We had this dryer less then one year, (I do normal ammounts of laundry) the heating element went out. Got that fixed now 2 years later its making a horrendous sound and needs to be repaired again. I would NOT recommend this product. Less then one year on a brand new product it should not have failed that quickly.

Not worth upgrading to this model for the steam cycle. Didn't notice a difference on clothes removed after the steam cycle.

It's nothing special, I still have to run it twice sometimes to actually dry comforters or large towel loads.
