The dryer started making funny noises that just got worst within one year purchased

Loud and does not dry well at all. Returned it and bought the Whirlpool

We have really enjoyed this dryer until today, one month after the warranty has run out. It has begun to make a banging noise it shouldn't make. Also the lint catcher allows a lot of lint to pass through and isn't easy to clean. Hopefully we have good luck with service but I'm guessing it will cost half the price of getting a new one.

Bought this product year and a half ago. I just recently stated squealing and making a banging noise. Did not purchase extra warranty for this product. Didn't think I would need it, but I will never buy this brand again. It still dries just have to listen to it making all these loud noises.

I went in to look at Whirlpool matching dryer. Deal on this was too good. Service no good.

The internal housing filled with lint within 3 years and the drum bearings were shot at 4.5 years. Drier was maintained properly/cleaned regularly. Repair man advised that Samsung driers are poor quality and to avoid the brand for future purchases. Very disappointed.

Still getting used to this new dryer and have not owned it long enough to recommend

We got this dryer at a great price. The free home delivery was much appreciated.

I have had this dryer for less than two years and have had to replace the belt and pulley system and now the main motor has gone out. It was great when it worked but not worth the money to only work a little while.

We've had many issues with both of our washer and dryer from Samsung. Currently the wash machine is rusting very badly near the bleach dispenser. I would not purchase these products from Samsung again.

Got this because other was defective. Liked other machine better.

Heating Element stopped working within first 36 months - it went bad again in another 10 months we basically have to replace it and it hasn't been 5 years.

The dryer does remove wrinkles as stated by the manyal

Stop heating after 1 year. I purchased the extended warranty with Geeks/ A&E Factory service . After 30 days and 3 trips by the repair guy I'm still without a dryer. Hopefully Best Buy will stand behind the product they sold me and do what's right.

Less than 3 years old and heating element and idler already went bad!!! Buyer beware!! Do Not Buy Samsung!!! Would give a zero star if I could

Dryer is pretty, it is best I can say about it. We had it repaired three times and now on hold waiting for Geek Squad to finish service requests for Fourth REPAIR!!

None of the sensor dry settings allow you to use low heat. The lowest you can go is medium except for the delicate cycle, which only allows you to use extra low heat. Even using the more dry option my clothes never get dried on the delicate setting. Only way to use low heat is to use the timed dry, which defeats the purpose of having a sensor dryer anyways. Not to mention that when this dryer is done it will play a twenty song that gets annoying really quickly.

$650 for a matching Samsung dryer that worked great for several months. Dryer no longer starts spinning on its own, have to "wind up" the drum manually several times to get the dryer to start spinning on its own. $425 repair to have it fixed - no thanks, I'll buy a brand new US-made appliance for that cost. Samsung, please stick to your core competencies which are small consumer electronics and flash memory. NEVER AGAIN will I purchase a major home appliance with the Samsung badge on it - buyer beware!!!

This is a one dryer but it was purchased as a set with the washer which the washer turned out to be a recalled washer and that’s where the headache began.

The dry time was fine. The biggest issue is even if you get the clothes out as soon as they are done you have to iron all the shirts and pants. They are all wadded up.
