Great dryer, can't wait to get the matxhing washer.

It's a dryer, it dries well, it's Korean, it sings when its done. Set it up myself, minimal fuss and only one trip to the hardware store for duct hosing and an electrical cable

Love this dryer. Dryer does a good job drying clothes in one cycle. My last dryer took two or three cycles to dry clothes.

Ive had this dryer repaired about 5 times now. Same issue with heating element piece i guess. From november 2024 to now (april 2025) ive had a tech come 3 times to repair the same thing & just tell me this dryer is known for this issue. That i should only be drying no more than 5 towels a load. Lol at this point, my dryer wont even turn off on its open. I had the dryer on & had to leave the house thinking it would off when the timer was done & 3 HOURS later i got home to an extremely hot dryer still on!

I'm really angry. I've had this dryer only two months, and last night it wouldn't operate. I bought a new dryer so I could stop trouble checking my old one. I paid extra for the gas dryer too. I went to press start and it lit up ready to go and click, but no spin. It just sat there with the screen blinking and the timer counting down. I tried resetting it. I tried seeing if the child lock was accidentally turned on. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. I checked the circuit breaker on the house even though I knew it had power. I tried another setting. I tried checking the dryer door and the lint trap. I looked up product information, checked multiple internet sources, and did everything that's recommended to trouble check it multiple times. Then I found a video that explained that the belts on Samsung Dryers (plural, as in it's a regular problem) sometimes come off the drum on these things. Really? Yes, really! So the easiest way to check, is to reach in and push on the inside to spin it, and if it spins too easy and you hear a scraping noise, it's likely that the belt came off. We have the warranty, but seriously the last thing anyone needs is to be standing there with a pile of wet clothes inside a brand new dryer that won't operate - when they have to have those clothes dry and ready to wear for work, school, and in my case my child's clothing that he needed for the weekend to go to visit his father. I found myself at the Laundromat last night at 9:pm drying my son's clothing. All I could think was, "I have a brand new washer and dryer, but I still had to come to the laundromat? Aaahhhhhh!" I'm so frustrated! This isn't ok at all. So how often am I going to have to call for repairs on my lemon of a dryer? Samsung, if you're reading this, you obviously have a design flaw that you need to recall and fix. A belt should NOT come off a Brand New Dryer!!!!

I judt got this dryer today and i put two blankets to dry and went from 50 minutes to 1 minute and is still damp . Is this defective ????!

We loved our old Samsung dryer, but we replaced it when we had to purchase a washer. We wanted a matched set. Wish I had kept the old dryer. We haven’t found a pre set that dries our clothes. The timed dry option automatically sets the eco dry feature which doesn’t dry our clothes either. We have to set the timer for about 30 minutes longer than we used to, then manually set a timer, to get the clothes out to avoid over drying. Really took two steps backwards with this model!

Very satisfied with the washer we bought, only downside is the water level. I like to fill The washer above the clothes about an inch but the washer fills right up to the top of the clothes.

It’s big enough to fit a king comforter but you will need to open it a few times to readjust comforter because it will just roll into a cylinder and only dry on the outside. I do this a few times over an hour. It doesn’t matter what setting I use, it won’t dry fully if I don’t do that. For clothes the heat sensor is good. The dewrinkler button is utter poop, clothes will still come out wrinkled. Not the best dryer especially if you buy the washer that comes with it. Go with another pair of washer and dryer.

I wish there is a ZERO star option. Purchased this back in August 2020….We had to replace the heating sensor in 2022. Now 2 years later, the same thing is happening again. I should not have to do this every 2 years. This dryer is garbage.

It was not very good when it worked and then broke down and no customer support to fix it. Had it for about 2.5 years.

We purchased a Samsung brand dryer from Best Buy in 2016, and after less than four years, its belt, pulley, and motor all broke. We're now stuck with a repair bill for 150% of the cost of the original dryer. The repair technician said that factories are no longer lubricating appliances like the one we purchased, which causes them to break in only a few years. We very strongly recommend NOT purchasing appliances from Samsung.
