Not the greatest, had a heating unit burn up in 10 months into the purchase Geek Squad came out for a total of 9 times replacing the heating unit when finally they approved the replacement

The dryer shakes and makes noise with a heavier load.

Great dryer with excellent features. The steam function doesn't get rid of every wrinkle, but it does a better job than the typical dryer. It's also great for freshening up wool coats and jackets that are dry clean only without damaging them. One con is the end of cycle signal which is annoying after a while. It's a very long Asian sounding jingle.

17 months old/ $950.00 and the dryer wont heat..I bought a warranty for the washer and did not think I would need it for an Electric dryer, I was Wrong.

Love the extra hose to keep away from a bin to feel for steam washer. Love the size. Very quiet. Screws are hard to remove to swap door opening. Easy to rid clothes of wrinkles.

I just noted to my husband that we've had this dryer (and the accompanying washer) for almost 10 years with no problems. I love its musical indicators, and the color... well, it's MY color.

This dryer works well and easily keeps up with the demands of my 4 person home. Until yesterday, my only issue with this dryer has been my failed attempts to use the de-wrinkle feature. Seams I need to go back and re-read the manual. You must put in more than one item if you plan to de-wrinkle something or it will be soaked when the Dryer injects water to start the steam process. The only real issue I have had is that it burned out the High-Limit Thermostat (DC96-00887A), a simple $10.00 part. The real fun comes when you find out that you have to completely disassemble the dryer to get to this part, along with the heating element and other thermal sensor. These parts are mounted under the drum in the bottom of the dryer. While you can access them to test them by removing the front cover and door, you will not be able to replace them without a lot of work. Pay close attention to what screws go where as not all screws are the same. That front panel is VERY DIFFICULT to remove. There are videos on YouTube you can watch. I was lucky or brave and was able to make the repair myself in about 3 hours including a run to the parts store. I would not recommend this task to someone without some mechanical experience.

Bought our first house and needed a dryer. This fit the bill perfectly. It has a great amount of features for the price. It has a large enough capacity for our needs (husband and wife-no kids) and the quality is very good. Samsung did not disappoint. Steam options are a great addition as well.

I loved this dryer right up until it stopped working exactly 6 months after I bought it. It runs but won't heat. Called Best Buy about getting it fixed... after all I bought the 3 year protection plan. Well Best Buy gives you another number to call because your protection plan is through a third party. after over an hour on the phone we got an appointment set. The repair guy shows up today, doesn't have the parts, will need to order them AFTER he gets authorization to fix the dryer. He had NO idea how long that will take. I will NEVER buy another appliance from Best Buy... I will pay more to buy them from a local company who services their own sales.

IF YOU ARE GOING TO STACK THIS DRYER DO NOT BUY . YOU WOULD NOT THINK OF THIS WHEN LOOKING AT IT IN THE STORE. .FINDING FAULT IS NOT NORMAL THING FOR ME ,BUT I HAVE TO SAY THIS. THE TOP FRONT PANEL TURNS UP YOU CAN NOT SEE THE CONTROL PANEL I AM 5' 9'' AND IT IS HARD FOR ME I NEED TO STAND ON SOMETHING TO SEE THE PANEL COMPLETELY. PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES BUT THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE TESTERS OR DESIGN TEAM HAD ONLY STACKED THE WASHER AND DRYER . VERY POOR DESIGN. I WOULD FIRE THESE PEOPLE ON THE SPOT. THERE IS NO WAY A SHORT PERSON COULD EVEN BEGIN TO USE THIS DRYER STACKED . TIME WILL TELL HOW WELL IT WORKS . JUST GOT TODAY. IF YOUR PLANNING ON STACKING AVOID THIS DRYER.

I love the steam option on this Dryer. Makes me feel safter about getting wrinkles out of my more sensitive pieces.

I got an open-box set of the washer/dryer, and they've both held up very well. I installed it myself, and had a few issues. All my fault, though! Make sure you remove the shipping bolts before operation! :P

Clothes are dry. lots of drying options. My only tweak was to add vibration absorbing rubber foot support because the dryer is on a tile floor and the vibrations can be felt in the adjacent room. Cost me an extra $5. no big deal.

Great product, bought it in 2014 and it's been 8 years with no Major issues

It broke down two weeks after the warranty was expired. No one wanted to work on samsung because they are horrible.....and their parts are also horrible. I finally got someone sent by samsung after a three week wait except they did not have the right part (the entire motherboard was fried after only a year) and now I have to wait another two weeks. DO NOT BUT SAMSUNG!!!! Unreliable product and uncaring, ridiculous customer service.

Wife & I are very satisfied with this dryer. Performs flawlessly.

This is my 2nd Samsung dryer. The first one's heat component was broken after 1 year. This one has no heat after 2 months. The server company will come in after 10 days and maybe even longer to get repair done. No more Samsung for me.
