This one checks all the boxes. I was concerned about the lint trap being difficult to use because of the ones in the store but the one I received is not at all difficult to open thankfully. I love it, and that the light comes on, and that the clothes are dry. AND, my electric bill went down, so I think it's more efficient than the ancient one I upgraded from!

My first front loader dryer

We had to get a new dryer because our old Samsung had a cracked drum. Took a chance getting another Samsung because it had the features I wanted and I liked the idea of the smart alerts. It definitely dries more quickly than the previous model we had which is great! Unfortunately, I've had trouble connecting the dryer to the app so I need to problem solve that. Hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

We have not had a need to try the steam features yet, but I'm sure they work well. Samsung is a great brand.

It was a pretty easy swap. The controls are not much different other than these are touch sensitive and the old were actual buttons. I have not tried the wireless connection, I don't have a need to. Other reviews I've read complain that it's loud, but not here! I can't hear it running unless I'm in the same room, and even that is not a bother.
