A: No it doesn’t have to connect to Wi-Fi in order to work just got them last month and they are wonderful. The Wi-Fi option is so you can control it from your phone.

Simply the Best!!
What an awesome dryer. You will not be disappointed. It has quiet operation, wifi, beautiful color, does a great job of drying the clothes on specific heat settings. The wife and I couldn’t be happier. It can handle a King size duvet! Highly recommend.

Buy it now awesome dryer
So i have owned a few dryers in my life and this is a game changer both this and the washer. OH wow this is like the Cadillac of machines, It's so so quiet and i bought this set for the fact its stackable. You do have to bye the stackable kit separate but it was only like $35 so not going to break the bank. But i was afraid because it was the stackable set it was going to be louder and i could have not been more wrong. It is so quiet i don't even know its running. Also you can hook it up to your WIFI and at first i though how stupid but again i was wrong its actually nice because then you link it with an app called smart things and you can monitor how long it has to was and dry if you have both like i do and you can set it settings from the app, so my daughter who is all of 4 foot 9 inch and cant reach the buttons on the dry because we have that on top of the stack she just puts the cloths in and sends the settings to the dryer from her phone, I lets you know once your cloths are dry and washed with the washer. The quality of the dry and washer is is great. It does NOT feel like its made cheaply. You can tell its made of good quality material not all plastic. I am very happy and every penny i spent on this setup was a great choice.
