A: Just installed mine today, highly disappointed , drum makes a thumping noise i can hear 2 rooms away . Even does it when its empty. Purchased cause it had good reviews but mine wont be one of them.

A: No it doesn’t have to connect to Wi-Fi in order to work just got them last month and they are wonderful. The Wi-Fi option is so you can control it from your phone.
