At first it would shut off mid-way thru cycle, then would not turn on at all. We swapped it out for a new one (same model) and experienced the exact same problem. Rather than getting a THIRD dryer we had a Best Buy tech come to fix it and it ran great...for about 2 weeks. Same problem. This was a Samsung Problem not a Best Buy problem. Thankfuy I paid for a membership so no out-of-pocket $$ for this huge headache! I'm returning both washer and dryer for a different brand which is a bummer because they look awesome!

I had the older version of the dryer on a pedestal. I had asked if I could use the pedestal that I had and was okayed. Then, when delivered neither the washer or the dryer could be placed on the pedestals of the older appliances. It is on the floor but had to be out 3-4 inches for heat flow. Does not dry as well as the older version
