Size is small and easily portable. You can use google docs for papers - which makes this pretty good for students - but if you need Office... you might look into a true laptop. But of box, worked as expected, if not better!

Great Budget Chromebook

With the update, this runs Android apps if that something you really need. If you want something just to do schoolwork on or read the news/email/quick youtube videos. This will be fine.

Still going strong!

Bought one for my son to use at school instead of the crappie one they gave him. For a $200 chromebook, you can't go wrong with this one. Liked it so much we purchased another one for the hubs and/or guests to use.
