is fast i like thes size too is perfecto to the kid to the shool

I purchased the Chromebook for my daughter - a 7th grader - to have the means to complete school work on her own device. Most of her teachers use Google Classroom and provide digital resources that she can use at home and on the weekends. It just made sense to get a Chromebook. We got it for a good price and it does just what we need it to do.

This is great Chromebook. I was able install few apps, which I am used to from my smart phone. In the time of this purchase there was not possible to easy install Linux. Later I found, it's actually Linux ready, and I can even run GCP GCloud. I am missing touchscreen, but considering price, still it's not bad overall.

Still too new to give a complete review, but out of the box, everything I read about it was true. I’ll review again in six months

This is an excellent Chromebook. It boots up fast and runs for a long time (6+ hours) on a single charge. Everything seems to work as expected. (This is my second Chromebook.) It is a fast, easy and hassle free way of browsing the internet via the Chrome browser. I am amazed more people have not started using this technology.

I somehow missed an important detail: it was a nice computer, but I wouldn't be able to do what I needed this computer for - work with programs and extend Gedcom files. I ended up returning it and getting a different laptop. The salesperson with the second laptop described the Chrome as a "slightly advanced and larger phone". If that is what you need, it would be a good option!

The notebook holds a charge long enough, it's quick.

Old one died. Picked up this one to replace one one

Really good chromebook for the price bought it for my kids to do homework. It has the app store built and it's pretty sturdy

I was fortunate to purchase this at a Black Friday price, so was extremely pleased with the price. I direct an after school program and have purchased 6 of these (at regular price) for my kids to use. The 5th & 6th graders in particular say they much prefer this Samsung above whatever brand of chromebook is used by the school.

This Chromebook is perfect. I bought it for my 6th grader to be able to do homework. Have no issues with this Chromebook.

I read the very good reviews, yet I remain hesitate to buy a it for $169.00. I am amazed how much power it has, it works.

It was a very great purchase for my daughter who as a sophomore, lost out on the new policy for our school. New for the incoming freshmen this year, they receive a Chromebook for their duration of the 4 years in the school. This purchase was affordable for us and of great use for my daughter doing work in school and home.

Schools around here use Chromebooks in school. Set this up under her school account, uses filters established by the district and works great. It has taken a few bumps, nothing big, but has been getting used almost every day since Christmas (8 months). Not as high of display as others, but has been good enough.

I bought this as a starter laptop for a 9 yr old with the warranty. She will be able to use for school and entertainment
