The SD Slot and hinge is very well know for breaking. I reccommend this as a first laptop but be very careful with it as I never take it out of the house and the laptop's hinge is already broken.

During the whole time she used it, it was never abused; I think that it only left the house once for a trip that we took, and then it was kept in a shock bag. Exactly 45 days after the 1-year warranty expired, the charging port had an issue and Best Buy offered us no recourse. It would have been more expensive to repair than to replace the unit. I don't know about you, but I feel that a unit like this when it's well taken care of should last more than 13 and a half months. This is the first negative experience that I've ever had with Samsung products, as well as Best Buy. I would have preferred to make a positive comment, but the situation wouldn't allow.

I can believe Samsung put this on the market. Locks up constantly. very unfriendly for saving files and retrieving them. You would do better lighting your money on fire than to buy this junk. As soon as i get back home in the States its going in the garbage. Went ahead and bought the Google Pixelbook waiting at home for me. You get what you pay for and this Samsung Chromebook drove that home for me.

Bought it for its original price of $199 called in a week later it dropped to $169. Now it’s listed at $199 with $30.99 off what a rip off to make it seem like you are getting a good deal.

It does not like Verizon wireless routers or hotspots, works well on a friends comcast equipment.
