I got this laptop open box, and it was significantly discounted! The only thing I noticed wrong was that I didn’t get the original box or charger. But getting a pretty much brand new laptop for more than a few hundred off and only needing to replace a charger? You can’t beat that!

If you are looking for a modern, sleek laptop that can do just about anything, the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro may be what you are looking for. This laptop is so much fun, and the performance is amazing. Right out of the box, you can’t help but be impressed. The silver casing with the reflective SAMSUNG inscribed on the outside just looks awesome. The casing itself is fingerprint resistant too, so you won’t have smudges on it every time you pick it up or use it. When you open it up, you see the nice big directional pad along with a true 10-key entry pad included. The nice 15.6” screen gives you a good size to work with as well. It also comes with a pen which can be used as a mouse on the screen or for drawing or writing. The pen doesn’t even need charging. Once you get past the looks though, the real reason you get a 2-in-1 laptop is for what is under the hood. Can it perform what you need it to do? In the case of the Galaxy Book 2 Pro, there is not much it cannot do. With the Core i7 processor and 1TB SSD, you quickly boot up. Programs load at lightning speeds. This processor is built to deliver, and it does. Once in the program, everything is smooth and fast. Multitasking is not a problem. While not designed for gaming, you could certainly even do a little bit of that on this system. The AMOLED screen on this system looks incredible. The colors are vivid. If watching video, the darks stay dark and do not lighten up. Reds are very red. Everything is beautiful. The graphics processor is modest. That is why gamers won’t totally like this system. However, the graphics are good enough for just about any other thing that you may want to do on your system. The sound quality coming from the system is also quite good. Whether watching movies or taking a video call, the sound is great. There are few noticeable omissions in the design though. First, you must rely on Wi-Fi for internet connectivity. There is not an ethernet jack that you can connect to. You would need an adapter to do that. The same can be said about adding an additional monitor. It can be done, but you would need an adapter. There are slots available to connect additional devices. However, they take the new USB Type C or Thunderbolt connectors. Also, there is no DVD drive. If you require one, you will need an external device. These are most likely minor issues, but I pointed them out just for information. I really love the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro. Most of the time I am weary about a system that tries to be everything to everyone. But this Galaxy Book 2 Pro does a really good job of doing many things extremely well. I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro to anyone looking for a great laptop or 2-in-1.
