It is good, but could be better

I read that the battery keeps working for years, but in my case it was necessary to replace after few months, and after the replacement the tags just lost connection with my cell phone, it was necessary to start everything from ground zero, so it was not really just a battery replacement, but a exercise of patience.

As we strive to be innovative and make improvements on the design and functionality of our products, your feedback is invaluable. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The Galaxy SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag2 last transmitted its signal. Other Galaxy users that are participating in the SmartThings Find network help with updating your SmartTag2's location within the app. If you would like to share additional feedback with us or if you would like any further assistance, please feel free to contact Support. Great Tag Device

I also appreciate the ability to guide the owner to the tag using an arrow to point the way. My only wish is that it worked with all android phones. Currently, it only works with Samsung phones.

Best Samsung Tracker Yet

The original, Smart Tag + and now the SmartTag2. The ST2 is by the best tracker. It can do everything the ST+ could but with a much longer battery life. Also, the volume of the chime is louder whereas the ST and ST+ were very soft in comparison.

I lost my backpack twice, and i found it with the galaxy tag. I would recommend it for someone with a backpack or anything valuable in a bag.

They track as they are supposed to do and there functionality is on point. It took me a few minutes to get the programming figured out, but once that was done it was smooth sailing. I bought four of them and I have each one labeled to keep them from being mixed up and not knowing which one belongs to my car, luggage or wherever I decide to place the tag.

I put it on my elderly father's keychain, so I can keep track of him when he goes missing. He can also send a distress call to my phone by pushing the button and I can use my phone to locate his lost keys.
