Posted .Hey LeeR, the advertised Galaxy SmartTag2 is compatible with the Galaxy S20+. It supports essential Bluetooth tracking, SmartThings Find network location tracking, and ring-to-locate features. However, it lacks Ultra-Wideband support on your Galaxy S20+ for precise, direction-based Compass View tracking, which is only on Note20 Ultra and S21+ and higher. These advanced trackers, attachable to any item, can be easily located via the SmartThings app without incurring additional costs for basic tracking services. These devices are designed to work seamlessly with Galaxy phones and tablets equipped with the latest SmartThings app version. A single device can manage up to 200 SmartTags, though wireless communication limits may restrict simultaneous connections. It's important to note that each item can only be associated with one SmartTag at a time. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag2 last transmitted its signal. Samsung provides a on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. The SmartTag2 utilizes the SmartThings Find network which consists of many other "findable" Galaxy devices that work as beacons by sending out signals. Once these beacons detect a signal from a device that is being sought out by its owner, they will relay that information to the SmartThings Find network; allowing you to see the approximate location of where your lost SmartTag2 last transmitted its signal.
