On the outside, it's a high quality, well built and good feeling device. It also features a very vibrant screen. However, the combination of Samsung's Android launcher "OneUI" and relatively low specs make this a fairly poor user experience in the end. This tablet is slow, and slugs along at basic tasks that it really shouldn't be slow at. It's specs are low, and that's fine given that it's a budget tablet. But the old 2013 Nexus 7 feels like it's snappier to navigate through the menus and browse the internet on, and it's six years older. That's completely unacceptable. Samsung's OneUI has always had an issue of feeling more sluggish than competitors, and with their budget devices it shows. This tablet isn't bad, it just doesn't feel as smooth as other budget alternatives, which is a shame considering it costs more than the other budget devices as well. I still use this device and opted to keep it, but it mainly functions as an e-reader at this point, because browsing the internet just takes longer than I'd like it to.

If you're not tied to the Apple jugernaut (i.e. if Android is your oeprating system of choice, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2019) is a great tablet that brings current, solid Samsung technology to the user at a reasonable price point (better if you can get it on sale). An octocore processor with the latest Android OS (9 "Pie"). Fast, reliable.

I had 2 kindles and nothing but problems both were just junk so I bought a tab A 10.1 and love it so far .I downloaded all my movies and screen mirror them directly to my Samsung TV because where I live there is no internet so this helps alot and for the most part the picture is flawless and I have a 4k tv.

Easy to navigate and great size for my personal use

I really enjoy this tablet and I am very happy with this purchase. The screen is beautiful! The 32gb allows for all my apps plus more! My only qualm would be the camera. It's got a weird-looking pixelation to it, so the pictures look kind of like a watercolor painting. Also, THERE IS NO FLASH! I don't recall seeing in the details about anything concerning flash. I've found I don't need it since the pictures look strange anyway, so I don't even use the camera.

I have been using my mobile to surf the net and use social media but its been getting harder to see the smaller screen. Got the tablet for its size and cost. Best purchase ever. All my apps copied over and I have no problem seeing. The order was ready for pickup and they brought it out to the curb. Good service.

Tablet has great screen size and resolution. Nice camera but did not have any flash that I could locate. Many great features and has the guide built in to help with operating or troubleshooting questions. Would be nice if the side volume buttons were raised a little more but no problem to use. All in all very satisfied.
