This is an excellent tablet for a reasonable cost. The screen resolution is great and reproduces vibrant colors. The responsiveness to touch is very good and the tablet's built in apps are quite useful, especially the Microsoft Office suite. I am very pleased with my purchase and will definitely be recommending this tab to all my friends.

Tablet is quick and responsive, the S-pen feature is excellent for taking ntoes at the office, I don't need paper anymore and the sidesync easily transports my files between my devices for photo editing and downloads.

Bought this as a replacement for an older tablet for my mother, who is 82yo. Cant get her off this thing. She totally loves this tablet and thats all that matters to me. I mean like, she takes this thing everywhere and enjoys showing it off.

I did initial analysis on which android tab to buy and came to know about this amazing galaxy tab by samsung, such a great product, using this for close to a month now and Im really happy for my decision to buy this. worth every single penny.

Good tablet for games, but not good display for reading.

I liked it but the resolution wasn't as good as my old Tabs 10.5. Traded it in for the TabS 2.

Bought this as a gift for my son to replace a cheaper broken tablet. He loved using a tablet instead of our desktop to do school work. He isn't one to sit very long in a chair and this provides the ability to do his computer reports on the go.

I bought this Samsung specifically because it came with an integrated stylus. I do a lot of copy editing and use different editing programs (MetaMojiNote has been my latest fave for its simplicity), and had been struggling with using my iPad and a stylus that I bought separately at Best Buy. Even though my stylus was high-quality, the iPad just does NOT reject your palm well. I got frustrated and gave up--and bought this Samsung. In all honesty, I wanted a Surface Book Pro but simply couldn't afford it....but I haven't regretted this purchase at all. It was my first Samsung purchase ever--I otherwise own all Apple products. The device works very well overall, and I enjoy surfing the Internet on it. The pros: --The stylus has a home built into the device. No more wondering, "Where did I put that thing?" I LOVE using the stylus. It's light and is easy to write with. --The screen quality of the writing is excellent. No fuzziness. No glitchy delays between the time I write and the time it actually writes on the screen. Looks just like what I would scribble on a notepad. And more importantly, you can lay your palm across the screen as you write, and it doesn't cause a problem at all! AWESOME! --Aside from the stylus, the device comes with Microsoft Office loaded on it for free. A BIG plus! I love having Word on it already. --The price. It doesn't do everything a Surface Book can do, but it does what I need it to do, for hundreds cheaper. --You can expand your memory with a memory card. The cons: --I wish that when I opened a PDF, I could just start scribbling away on it and then save it to my documents as a new PDF. Unfortunately, I still have to send my PDF to a third-party app (again, MetaMojiNote), make my corrections, then save it back to the device's storage. It's a pain, and I don't quite understand why this hasn't been made easier--it's almost 2016, for Pete's sake. (I'm guessing you don't have that hassle on a Surface Book...) --Whenever you first use the stylus, it wants to take a picture of your screen. I don't know why it does this, and it's probably just user error on my part--but I haven't figured out how to stop it from doing this. Instead of the stylus just immediately writing on your screen, you have to click away from that snapshot it takes, then go up to a menu and select the pen. (Again, I'm guessing this is something I just haven't figured out how to change, but in the meantime, it's rather annoying.)

Makes for a great gift to family member for christmas

Tablet is one of the best I have seen. Fast and reliable.

stylus pen works well, processor seems quite capable

First experience with this type of technology. User friendly except flat keyboard is a little hard to get used to. Like rapid connection and search speed, autocomplete in typing and verbal searches . Samsung teaching seminar very helpful.
