Customers are saying

Customers find value in the Galaxy Tab A's large screen size, ease of use, and long battery life. Many appreciate its lightweight design and affordable price, along with the included stylus for note-taking and drawing. Positive feedback also highlights the camera quality and overall performance. A common concern, however, centers around the limited internal memory.

It's a great tablet but we purchased a refurbished and it was a gift. When we started to use it every time that we tilted the screen would turn off. We purchased a protection plan now we have to use

The screen resolution is not as good as iPad. Also, it seems operate at a slow pace compared to iPad that I used to own in past. My overall experience is that it did not met my expectations.

I just don't like it as well as the Ipad. But for the money, it does okay. Still haven't figured out how to do some things with it.

This tablet is sturdy and works very well, except if you need it to use gps location. We bought it for pokemon go but the gps location is just terrible so it doesn't keep up.

While $180's not bad for a tablet, it just didn't impress. Mostly I wanted to use this for Quickbooks Online payments, and turned out to not be compatible with the card swiper. It also said it was an Octa core processor on the website, but turned out to only be quad. Screen quality wasn't impressive either. Gonna stick with the iPad mini.

It is a nice product for travel, but it doesn't come with an instruction manual so you are left to try and figure out how to use it by trial and error or youtube videos.

THank goodness we had the Qeek Squad. Our Samsung died at just 3 weeks. We were told the problem was the mother board, which of course was replaced. This took about a week.

Unless you can't afford the newer model, this would be great. But the screen resolution is not as good as the other models. Go for the tab. A 10.1 with pen instead.

the product may be great, but I had to return mine because I, being behind technologically, assumed all tablets had a port for a SIM card and wasn't told otherwise.

    How I missed Android!!

My first tablet was an HP touchpad i got for $99 during the 2011 HP firesale. Was able to port Android to it and it was a very decent tablet. We all tried to make it to be IPad. In 2013 i sold it and bought an IPad 2 but i hated always having to use itunes if i wanted to transfer pics etc. I hated itunes and the more i used the ipad the more i missed Android. So i decided to purchase this tablet. This is a great tablet. The battery life has surpassed my expectations. It lasts just as long if not longer than my Ipad. The screen while not the highest resolution, its the same as my ipad, is beautiful. I love being able to customize my tablet and not having a tablet that looks like everyone elses Ipad. I find it faster than my ipad which gets slower with every version update. The only negatives are the placement of the speakers and buttons. I use it alot in landscape mode and my right hand tends to cover the speakers alot. I also wish Samsung would do away with the hardware home and back buttons, I'd prefer if it just had the buttons on the bottom of the screen. All in all, the tablets a keeper. Ill probably root it soon.

I know it's cheap, but it's just not bright, resolution is bad, and too heavy. I spent the extra money to return it and get the Tab S2 and I couldn't be happier.

The tablet works great, but it was definitely not necessary for what I was looking for. It is not able to do as many split-screen options as I was hoping for.

Samsung puts so much bloat ware on the tablet that you must buy a large SD card to store files. I use the tablet for music and it is a problem.

I was pleased with the speed, but that's about the only thing. It weighs a lot, taking a picture is a difficult because it is so easy to put your hand or finger over the lens, the back is so slick very hard to hold on to and Samsung doesn't offer and skin or cover, that I know of. As far as I'm concerned it doesn't compare with my Kindle. Money thrown away. Sorry

I bought this as an upgrade from my Tab Pro because of my games crashing. The screen definition is fair, but the reaction time on games was poor and slow. Took this back the same day and got the Tab S2 and that was the best thing I could have done. It was well worth the extra money for an excellent tablet, all problems solved.
