Worst wifi I have seen in a tablet, computer or phone.

My wife had an old 1st Gen iPad that needed to go. I researched for a replacement for her and just couldn't justify the price of a new Apple. I had recently purchased myself a Samsung - Geek Squad Certified Refurbished Galaxy Tab 4 and was thrilled with the product and price. I can only say the same holds true for my wife's Tab A. This is definitely a score!

I am giving this tablet 3 stars simply because it does not have a great camera. It malfunctions and half the time it doesn't work when you attempt to touch the controls. I did return and exchange for the same tablet and the camera does seem to work better on the other tablet. Everything else works great but there are camera issues and i am still checking out the other tablet once it is charged up all the way. Best buy customer service is lousy and they try to say the customer doesn't know what they are doing which is typical of service reps. I would cautiously recommend this tablet only if you can deal with the lousy camera software. But again everything else is just fine.

I've had this tablet for almost a month now and I really like it. The battery life is great. The resolution/image quality is great. I haven't experienced any glitches. It's not too heavy. The operating system is very easy to use especially if you are used to Android. I wish the stylus was a bit more precise, but it works well for my needs and my budget. I use a Bluetooth Logitech keyboard with it and have never had a problem with syncing etc.

Resolution: similar with iPad 1 and iPad 2 (not the same as iPad Air). However the performance is great. If you still have iPad 3, you will notice that this Tab A is faster than the iPad. Pro: Performance Everything works Battery life -> Good Storage extension via micro sd HD video works "without any skip frame/freeze". Even though the resolution is the same as iPad 1/2 however its still pleasant to watch the video. Cons: Resolution

Price is great and the 4:3 aspect is the way android tabs should of been since the beginning. Screen is passable but could be better. Build quality is good. All graphic intense games run fine. I will be selling and getting the note version once its out. For now this will do.

Purchased this tablet to replace a 4 year old model of the same tablet. The new model is lighter, faster, cheaper. Samsung continues building solid products!

There are two models. Make sure you get the PEN supported model if you want to take notes. The S Pen experience is as close to pen and paper as I have ever used. S Note app keeps my notes well organized, better I think than OneNote which I sometimes use on this machine. The only failing I notice is that the off screen (hard navigation) buttons do not light up. Not a problem at all in good room light. Battery life is adequate for a day's meetings, size and weight are good for travel. I put a leather cover on it, with magnet, which triggers sleep when closed (tablet feature). I have lots of machines. This is my favorite tablet.

Bravo to Samsung and Best Buy for this mid-range tablet. I had been looking for a mid-range 10-inch Android tablet that I could also get a keyboard cover for that fit well. The 9.6 Tab A coupled with the Logitech Type-S keyboard cover made specifically for this tablet are a great combination. I've owned many other Android tablets and I'm locked into Android and Google. This combo makes the perfect work assistant with the keyboard for meetings and productivity, Google Now, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel included. I also love the fact that I don't have to wait for Android N to get multiple, resizeable windows. This thing works well for a mid-range. The combo looks sleek and professional and is fairly lightweight. I'm very happy with my purchase.

I purchased two of these for gifts from my daughter and son for Christmas. They love them, much larger than their previous Samsung tablet. Straight out of the box they were ready to go.

Traded in my Nexus 7 (2012) to get the $100 discount on this tablet. I have been very impressed with the quality. It feels solid and easy to hold. It's very responsive and smooth. Would recommend for anyone looking for a 9.7" tablet.

Just purchased this tablet and I am very pleased. I traded my Asus T100ta at Best Buy and got store credit which was awesome. Screen resolution is great and 9.7 size is perfect for holding comfortably. I am happy with this product.

Everything that a Microsoft tablet can do this Samsung tablet can do but comes with a cheaper price and is powered by Android which is a plus, the video quality is 720 but can only tell when you are facebook

Since I've been in college, I have carried around my big laptop. It's easier for me to take notes when I'm typing but I hate carrying it around so I wanted a tablet that was "college budget friendly". This thing is great! I have my syllabus, textbooks, and notes all in one place and I can access Blackboard easily since it's on the app. I believe it saves money in the long run. The only thing I carry around now is my tablet, one regular notebook, and a pen.

I purchased the 9.7 Samsung galaxy tablet and must admit it was my best purchase ever. :) It's so lightweight and thin feels great in your hands and the screen big enough to watch a movie or play your favourite game. I bought this as a gift to myself for my birthday and I have to say...I love it.

We absolutely love our tablet. It is perfect for everyone in our family including our baby who can learn on it as well. Would highly recommend this product to anyone! Great for all ages!

I bought this tab to use at work for checking and answering emails doing spreadsheets on the go etc. Works great seeing had microsoft office software preloaded. Also works great for entertainment purposes. I love watching netflix and hulu it is great for this given the screen size. My 7 yr old also loves it because of kids mode which has kid friendly videos and games. Very user friendly!

I have an IPhone and wanted a tablet but the apple tablet was just too expensive. Super battery life and my 6 & 4 yr old grandsons love this tablet too!

My wife wanted a tablet to replace her netbook and this is one sweet tablet. It will do everything an Ipad will do at one third of the price. My wife loves it and has not touched her laptop since. Great handwriting recognition with the included stylus pen.
