Customers often highlight the Galaxy Tab S3's impressive screen quality, ease of use, and long battery life as significant strengths. The included S Pen and lightweight design also receive considerable praise. However, some customers find the price to be a drawback, and a few express concern about the limited storage capacity. Overall, the positive feedback on key features outweighs the negative comments.

I upgraded from my TabS that I had for about 4 years to the TabS3 thinking I was getting major improvements but I can't say I did. Had a lot of problems right away. Some of my emails the body doesn't open, tried the Samsung default program, GMail and Outlook none of them worked. Switched to Yahoo and they open but my contacts won't sync. Called Samsung numerous times they couldn't fit, did a complete reset still isn't fixed. When on line and found others complaining about the same thing.

So i first bought this tablet a month ago and noticed i kept losing WiFi signal alot so i thought maybe i bought a defective one. I exchanged it for a new one and the problem was still there. Did some research online to find out that its a common problem and that Samsung never really fixed it with this tablet so it could be a manufacturing problem. I would avoid this tablet.

A little tablet that works but the Samsung keyboard accessory is not worth the high price, hangs on by magnets. Fell apart on the plane in mild turbulents.

Best android tablet for the money. But for the same price you can get a much faster iPad. So unless you’re a diehard android fan I would get an iPad

Best of the Android Tablets

The Tab S3 is the best Android tablet I've used so far, but still has a few nagging issues.
First, the build quality is absolutely amazing. This is the best tablet I've ever handled and the construction is perfect. The front and back are glass and the camera no longer protrudes out the back. The sides are a gently curved metal. Everything feels great to hold. The black model does, however, smudge like crazy on the back, so I find myself wiping it down occasionally.
The star of the show here is the amazing display. It's tack-sharp and has incredible color and contrast. It supports HDR video, too. While HDR is only available while playing back from Amazon Video for now, it future proofs the tablet, as does the ample 4GB of ram and decent processor.
Also impressive is the charging time via USB-C Fast Charging. It charges very quickly, even when the screen is on and set to almost near brightness.
The rear camera is decent and includes a flash this time around. It is also capable of shooting 4K video! Luckily you can add a micro SD card to hold all of those 4K videos,
Some of the cooler touches include built in magnets to hold the Samsung Book Cover and Keyboard on (no more snap-on gromets on the back!) and pogo pins on the side to pair with the keyboard instantly.
The coolest feature of all is the inclusion of the S-Pen. This guy has been a pleasure at meetings where I can jot down notes as easily as I can on paper. The pen included with the tablet is longer than the phone's and is more natural feeling. The tip is imposssibly thin and allows me to write with total accuracy. I just love it! While there's no stylus holder on the tablet my keyboard case (sold separately) has a loop to hold it.
So what's not to love? Not much! I am disappointed in the quad speakers. The tablet decides which pair to use depending on orientation, which is very neat and allows for unobstructed sound in both portrait and landscape mode. They sound very thin though, almost shrill. They're acceptable at low volume and have incredible separation but are by no means room filling.
The fingerprint reader is handy but seems to struggle with my thumbprint, an issue I did not have on my S2 Tab.
The biggest disappointment is that mine has a stuck bright pixel right in the middle of the screen. It's only apparent when I turn the brightess all te way down and I'm in a dark room though. Still, it's kind of a bummer on a flagship tablet.
Overall this thing has been a blast to play with and a very enjoyable way to consume media and work on work-related stuff here and there. It stands out from the crowded Android tablet field by a longshot!

It did not let me choose where files will be save. You have to download, go to the file where it recides, copy or cut and paste where you want.

Beautiful display. Poor software. Not all applications accessible in Settings. Miserable ability to address smart card for storage. Loads new app icons on the original lonely home page, even after other pages added and made the home page. Clumsy Samsung branded browser and music player. Spent several years as vapor wear, going to come out soon, needed a few more. The bitter taste of poor product last long after joy of meeting a deadline subsidies.

I've been using tablets for years, including my first Galaxy Tab 7" tablet, a variety of Acer and Asus tablets, a Surface, and Surface Book. I've also been a fan of the Samsung Galaxy phones, having a 3, 4, and a 5.
When I first got this S3 tablet, I was expecting to get decent tablet performance. What I got was a powerhouse in an elegant, extremely light weight package. The size is great -- it's way more portable than my Surface devices, and the type cover gives it a good amount of protection.
Great job on the type cover, guys! The magnet attachment and the tilted viewing angle are great. It would be awesome if the type cover had a hole for the rear camera. A couple of other minor keyboard quirks; the tablet only accepts the keyboard if the tablet is unlocked when you attach it. I was also hoping for an android button on the type cover but couldn't find it at first. I read the instructions (under settings/physical keyboard/keyboard shortcuts) and it shows a "super" button that supports all the commands I'd want to use for an Android keyboard. After hunting around, I figured out that the "search" button on the keyboard, with the magnifying glass icon, is this "super" button. Now my hands don't need to leave the keyboard. The keys are a fairly natural size, not too cramped for my very large hands, They didn't bother making a touchpad on the keyboard like you see on some other compact keyboards. Good move!
I'm going to experiment with USB C video adapters to see how it performs as a "desktop" replacement, but I'm really optimistic given how it performs normally. I have a USB C to USB 3 adapter, and it picks up my keyboard and mouse just fine, even through a KVM.
I've been using a Google Pixel phone for a while, so I lost practice with how Samsung does stuff, so it's a bit different to navigate. Not too bad, and this thing does way more and has way more features than I've explored so far.
It connected to my Wi-Fi network easily, has great web page load times, installs apps quickly, and Zen Pinball is super responsive on this.
It feels really light, so it is very easy to hold. It does great as a Kindle reader, although the screen is a bit shiny. They keyboard/case pops off easily but holds securely when it's attached either as a case or as a keyboard.
I was really excited to try it out, so I used it for two days before charging it. I let it run down to 15%, and it was still happily playing pinball. It supports quick charging, so it was back up to 40% in about 15 minutes.
It's pricey, but you get what you pay for. It's an awesome tablet.

Best Buy sent me a lot of emails that I asked them not to do because I didn't want my husband to know what I got him for Christmas. Well they sent 12. Asking if I liked it and telling me what I could buy to go with it. Will not buy anything else from this place

WOW, I can't express in words how much I love this tablet. From the moment I opened the box, I was smiling from ear to ear. The design is spot on, and it just feels comfortable and well made. The picture quality is amazing, and the software is intuitive. I have had many tablets, but this little guy is by far my favorite. I was a little skeptical of the sound being much better than the average tablet, but the four speakers really do make a difference, especially when one or two of the speakers are obstructed by how you are holding the tablet. I didn't think I would use the S Pen, but it just works well, and is such a great companion to the tablet. I have found the keyboard case to be very usable and an amazing add on. If you are pondering a nice tablet, definitely put this one at the top of your list, you won't be disappointed. I have to thank Samsung for really delivering on this one!!

I had to decide between the Tab S3 and the iPad Pro 9.7. I already owned a Pro 9.7 and knew I would be happy with it. I bought the Tab S3 since I am an android fan and use an android phone. I have been able to compare the two products and this is what I've found:
1) The iPad has better battery life. Despite other reviews saying otherwise, the iPad doesn't drain when not in use. The Tab S3 will slowly drain even when it's not being used. The battery life is still tremendous and I've gotten between 8 and 9 hours of hard use before the Tab S3 will run out of battery. The iPad will last longer.
2) Both tablets are lightning fast.
3) The Tab S3's Screen is far superior. Comparing the same 4k video on each tablet showed the Tab S3 has much better clarity and color. If you use a tablet for viewing videos or watching TV (both work great with PlaystationVue), the Tab S3 is the way to go.
4) The ability to use the microSD card is awesome.
5) The camera on both tablets are great.
6) The Samsung keyboard case works great.
7) Both tablets have enough RAM to support an amazing amount of functions at once. I give the slight edge to the iPad Pro despite having fewer gigs of RAM, it seems to be more efficient.
