Requires a Galaxy Phone to Properly Work
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this watch to replace my aging Samsung S3 Frontier smart watch, hoping to get some cool new features like ECG monitoring and SPO2 tracking, which Samsung recently approved for the US. Unfortunately, because I am using a non-Galaxy phone (a Pixel4), all these features are disabled for no good reason (unless you jailbreak the watch). This is very much a bait and switch on Samsung’s end as the watch is supposed to be compatible with all current android smart phones. I would not have bought it had I known I’ll have a watch with limited functionality. So unless you have a current Galaxy smart phone, this smart watch is will measure your pulse but nothing else as the Samsung Health Monitor app is purposefully hidden.
