I like the size and weight of the writband - it's comfortable. I really like that I can see if someone (like my kids) are texting or calling me. the only thing I think I would like added, would be that you could track your nutrition with it.

Great watch with all kinds of notifications from your device or phone. Reasonably priced!

Good for keeping track of steps and exercise. Can only text short hand or pre programmed phrases. Sleep tracker not really sure about felt like I never slept and says I was asleep 98% of the time.

I like the functions on this, but I'm a little annoyed that it does not always notify me when I get a text. Also, I cannot get the alarm feature to work. Overall, it is nice for the price.

I think this is a very stylish watch as well as tracking heart rate and sleep patterns.

It's a good health band with good apps on it. Battery life could be better but it last 2-3 days on charge with average use. Heart rate monitor is great.

Samsung gear fit works great for the exercises and notifications. I really like it.

I've seen people struggle with their fitbits cause when they move their arm it counts steps...this doesn't do it and u can check it any time u want!

Display is the best I have seen on a wearable. But will need a Samsung phone (with S-health app I suppose) to be able to use all the features. Reading text messages in landscape mode is tricky.

I purchased it as a gift for my husband, and he loves it. He didn't think he would like it...now he only takes it off to shower and charge it.

They should have stated what phones were compatible with. iPhones are not compatible. I need to return it, would have saved me some time.

I purchased this new Gear Fit a few days ago and have been wearing it ever since. I have only removed it to charge once so far. The battery life has been great. It was very easy to set up with the new Galaxy S5. It feels much lighter and smaller than the previous Gear products or the new Gear 2 and Neo. They need to work on the syncing between the fitness/pedometer functionality between the watch and the S health program but I am sure they will push out an update soon. I previously had the Sony Smart Watch 2, Galaxy Gear (ver 1), and the Pebble smart watch and this is by far the best so far. This is very easy to read an email or txt notification and respond to incoming calls. As the phones keep getting bigger and bigger devices like the Fit will become excellent companion devices. Biggest challenge is if you are wearing polarized sunglasses or are in extremely bright light...the display like most LED's can get washed out.

Purchased the fit gear for my wife and she really loves it. It's really nice how you can read all the information right off the watch. No need to sync with a phone or other device for stats on your activity. Really happy with the purchase.

Love that I receive my text messages at my wrist. Love the Device locator feature when I loose my phone around the house. The sleep tracking feature is pretty simple and unimpressive.. Looses Bluetooth connection when not super far away :(

It does almost everything that the more expensive smart "watches" do and cost a fraction of what they cost. I get text notification, phone call notifications, fb post notifications and weather. I can't image me wanting anything more. No, I can't make a phone call through the device but I can see who is calling and make a decision whether to get my phone. I was not looking to replace my phone, just to make things a little easier. This is it.

This Gear Fit is just as good a FitBit. Text, email and other notifications come through the device. Heart rate, pedometer, stopwatch etc.

After having this product for a long time the only reason why I switched was to upgrade to the GearFit 2. With this watch I was able to track my fitness and keep track of text and emails all the same. Excellent product from start to end!
