I really like this device as it allows me to keep in touch when I am busy or just hanging out. It keeps me informed with my walking and running plus I can check my heart rate at any time.

This was a requested birthday present for my wife. She absolutely loves it. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars was because it has a lot of updates and occasionally she losses her step count.

Love this watch. Tracks everything that I wanted (except where I can find Channing Tatum) Syncs with my Samsung phone too. Comfortable and hasn't 'accidentally' fallen off (as I've read on other reviews.)

I have used fitbit and garmin activity tracker in past , but i find samsung gear fit far more superoir in display , features and ease of use .Moreover it is kind of smart watch (you can read txt, emails , view incoming calls and customize display) . I have no doubt that it is the best activity tracker at this time.

Great device, but I had to go to samsung kiosk to have it pair with my Galaxy Note 3. I dropped a star because it frequently misses text notifications. This is a huge step up from.my fitbit

Does everything the wife wants, but had to send it to Samsung repair because it got stuck in the reboot cycle. Fast repair and it seems to be working great. Thinking about getting me one.

I bought 2 of these. One for me and one for my son. I love it and so does he. Easy to set up. So light I usually forget I even have it on my wrist. I can get about 2 days on a full charge. Doesn't have very far blue-tooth distance so if I walk away from my phone down the hall (50 feet) it disconnects. Minor issue really.

I really like my gear fit. Works well. Only complaint is that it has to be connected to the phone gps when you go into exercise mode, even if you are using a stationary bike or treadmill.

There are some fundamental missing pieces between the gear fit and the s health app. They dont always talk to each other in smart ways. For instance, you can track your heart rate through the gear fit but not tag it for the details (after workout, resting, etc). You can do this in the s health app when tracking heart rate through your phone but it doesnt translate to the band. Its a pretty good tracker and some features like the alerts and timer are good but the disconnect between the band and the app that it uses are unfortunate.

Good product. I like the larger screen/display. The unit does not record climbing stairs, but otherwise does everything I need. The display should have a protective screen installed.

I purchased this for my bf for xmas, he really enjoys it and loves it only one flaw is the heart monitor you have to be completely still for it if you move even a little it's off.

Was talked into this watch by sales rep over the FitBit watch. Has some neat capabilities with my Samsung phone....but not always easy to use. Pedometer is not as accurate as FitBit.

I have never worn or owned a watch my whole adult life and due to health reason had to begin walking. This watch is perfect for keeping track of my exercise and heart rate. Very slim design so not bulky on my wrist. Absolutely love this watch!!!

I purchased my Gear Fitness watch so that I could sync my fitness app on my S5. I have not worn a watch in over 15 years as I always just look at my phone. Now I can keep my phone in my pocket and complete most interactions with my watch. It is customizable so that you can change up the screen on a regular basis.

My daughter, 18, loves it. Having it has helped motivate her to keep up a routine to increase her activity. She does school at home and has become quite sedentary and this has been the little push she needed. Keeps track of her activity and has increased it x3. Loves the fact that it syncs to her Samsung S5 phone.

During a workout you want to check your heart rate right? Of course you do....on my gear fit it literally tells you to relax during your workout which....defeats the purpose of working out, you don't want to relax. I have given my gear fit a 3 because while I am impressed of the ability of technology these days this needs work, I wish during spin class it counted as cycling, I wish that it would vibrate when I've been sitting too long, and I wish that the gear fit was geared (haha) towards people with higher intensity workouts.
