Mostly love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does a good job of tracking heart rate, steps, and overall exercise. Does think I am cycling sometimes when driving though, lol. Wish it had more exercise options. I start on the treadmill and the move on to weight equipment and a lateral machine. No options for that type of exercise.

Good for encouragement
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the most part the tracking on this is pretty good. I gave it to a friend as a gift, and it has really helped them to want to be more active. That being said, the area it's the most impressive is not the fitness tracking, but the wearable portion. As a fitness tracker it has a couple of issues - the number of floors it counts is pretty obscurely calculated (we haven't figured out how it counts them, 2+ months later) and the way it determines if you're inactive means that even if you're standing at the sink washing dishes or folding laundry at the washer it may give you a reminder saying you've been inactive for 50 minutes. Obviously, like any tracker worn on the arm it sometimes conflates arm movement with steps, so those can be higher if you're moving your arms without walking or lower if you don't move your arms the same way (eg if you are pushing a shopping cart). Overall, I would recommend this as long as you don't require near 100% accuracy, but it does have its flaws.

It works for my wife but...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works like 98% of the time and the other 2% it freezes until I reset it. For some reason, it drains faster for my wife with little to no notifications enabled. Also the band comes undone sometimes so will be getting a new band online. Other than that, pleased with this product.

Awesome
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I Love this watch. I can see who's calling me, what I have scheduled on my calendar, my Heart rate and how I slept that night. All on this little watch. I'll definitely buy it again. I've had this watch over 2 yrs. And my only complaint is the watch band.

Great fit/smart watch.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having reviewed - for the past couple of years - the variety of "fit" devices, when this device came available it seemed to fit my primary needs / price range / functional needs / etc. Having had this device for about a month+/- I would certainly recommend it to others. My key goal was to have the ability to track a variety of exercise/health items in one location without always having to drag my phone around with me (Samsung S6+ Edge). The Gear Fit 2, with GPS and Bluetooth sync make tracking my exercise efforts - effortless:) I especially love the mapping it creates of my cycling rides, 5 mile + hikes, and syncs straight to the SHealth app. In addition, it also serves as a great compliment to the phone - email, phone calls, texts, etc., can all be linked. This is a huge bonus to the fitness items - it really takes the awkward operation of phone in meetings/social settings/etc away as you can very briefly/quickly see what call/meeting/etc is popping up. Bottom line, very pleased with this device.

Light weight, very comfortable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was my 1st fitness type smart watch. Could only get a day of use out of a full charge but it did last 8-12 hours while working. I'm on my phones all day for work so that's not bad. The watch feels good and you forget it's there. Very light. They could make the band a little tougher to get off but I have a very physical job but had only a few times where I have popped the band loose. Overall pretty satisfied with the watch.

good tracking watch/fitness
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch, along with my company having a challenge for steps has really helped me get active. I have an old samsung galaxy note 4 and it works great. You can even download for free or pay for different watch faces. I like it when I get a call because my phone vibrates and in my office the cell phone is off limits in the work area. So I can quickly duck out and take care of a call from a doctor's office etc. Charges great but be aware the cable comes with the phone but not the block that the USB charger cable needs to plug in the wall. I just use one that I had with a previous cell phone. I just don't leave it plugged in all the time. Often times I can just charge the watch while I get ready for work. Doesn't really track your sleep perfectly but if you wear it a while it gets better at tracking. If you get up in the middle of the night it might think you woke for an hour and show that gap. I just turn it off at night and use it when I am awake.

Great watch for people wanting to get healthy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this for my wife because she has high blood pressure and wants to exercise but is scared to due to high blood pressure. This has a built in heart rate tracker and is very user friendly. I really like the fact that it tracks all that it does. I can't compare this to a fit bit because i have never owned one but what i can say is if you want to exercise and keep track of everything this is the watch for you.

Does everything I was looking for.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Performs as advertised. I downloaded a color Navy logo for $1,27. In the color mode the tracker must be charged daily. In the power saving mode (black & white) the tracker can go 3 or 4 days between charges. I really like reading my text messages on the tracker. It vibrates to let me know I have a message or in coming phone call. The Samsung S Health app is ok. The sleep tracker spits your sleep ar midnight, which I do not like.

HAS TROUBLE WITH STAIRS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little complex to 'program' and forget it ever counting going up and down stairs. otherwise it's functional as advertised. however if it gets loose on your wrist at night a flashing green light may wake you

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Measures steps, heart rate, exercise, etc. Can display lots of stats directly on the device or through an app on your phone. Sync with phone is automatic once it is set up. The only down side is that the battery has to be recharged every 2 - 3 days, but that is minor. Wish it would take a standard micro USB or c-usb cable to charge but has it's own unique connection. But that is nothing new as Fitbit does the same thing.

Improvement over the Gear Fit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This purchase was for my wife who has the original Gear Fit (as did I). I got the Gear Fit 2 when the wrist band on my Gear Fit broke. I opted to upgrade to the new version and have been very pleased with it. Her Fit was still working okay but when a special pricing offer came up on the new one, I thought she should replace it. The features offered on the Gear Fit 2 are very useful and easy to use. The optional watch faces are myriad with many of them free of charge and in lovely hi-def color. Sleep monitoring is automatic so no need to turn it on or off. Marvelous. The only reason I don't rank it as 5 stars is the somewhat short battery life. It's good for about 3 days. I don't find that to be a huge problem and the unit does alert you when the battery needs to be charged. And, the charge connection is superbly simple. Drop it on the small charge station and it connects and charges in a very short time.

Easy to use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to use, simple but effective for fitness activities. Not a substitute for a smartwatch. So far no issues with the wristband as others have reported, but haven't used it too much since I have another smartwatch. Nice display and pairs up easily with my Note phone.

Outstanding Product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product - just right for tracking any sport you do PLUS heart rate and sleep - Oh Yeah - it tells time too! The S Health app mated with this is the reason for the high rating. Together they are easy to use. The ONLY issue - wrist band comes loose (I lost my first one in Morocco but bought another because I liked it so much) SO I bought the aftermarket secure strap to keep it from coming off again

Very well thought out...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have used the Microsoft Band and the Band2. I'm a huge fan of the Microsoft line-up... But when my Band2 broke a couple of months ago I found that they are very hard to get a hold of. I tried the FitBit Blaze before finally going with the Samsung Gear Fit2. The Blaze was very poorly designed for MANY reasons, but this is a review for the Samsung... The design is great. With a fitness band, you need to be able to adjust the strap easily. I love the way the band on the Samsung Gear Fit works. I have not had any problem with it falling off. It's waterproof enough to shower with. It's accurate on steps and floors climbed. The heart rate data is good. The way that it sits on the cradle to charge is nice... There is no cable to plug in and no stupid cheep plastic charging box like the Fitbit Blaze. You also don't have to take it apart to charge it like the blaze. Battery life is good. I get 2 full days I. a charge with a little room to spare. I am still a fan of the Microsoft Band 2, but I'm very happy with the engineering in this device and i don't see me switching to anything else any time soon. It's a great device. Hope this helps.
