I Love my watch! It tracks my steps and sleep! It also reminds me to get up and move at work when I am busy at my computer!

I had a fit bit previously and liked it until I got the Samsung gear. It has way more features and is a lot more accurate. I love my samsung gear

This is definitely a step up compared to the original Gear Fit. I like the constant heart monitor. The new charging system is easy to use, but it is not universal so plan on taking it with you when you travel. Where it falls short - it does not monitor sleep and the strap is terrible. If you are working out hard, expect the strap to come undone . Personal, it needs to be beefier. On a large wrist it looks dainty. All in all, it is a good Fit. While I would recommend this to a friend, there are others out there in the same price range that may be better.

Purchased smart watch for child for Christmas, only watch I found that offered all the functions in a single device. the Step count, heart rate, notifications and is stylish enough for a teenage girl . Thinking of purchasing another for spouse.

Doesnt have the syncing issues the fitbit has. Lightweight and comfortable. Easy to use. Just wish it had more texting and caling options.

I had to have my first one replaced after a couple weeks because the vibration feature stopped working, and yes I tried a hard reset but nothing fixed it. I have had my second one for a couple weeks and its working fine. Good news is I got a two year service plan for free due to a $30 promotion when I exchanged it. Apparently you need to have your phone with you for the mapping feature to work. Didn't know this when I purchased it, wished it would map your workout without your phone. This is still one of the best fitness trackers I have used.

I received this as a free bonus to purchasing the Samsung Edge. It was great for the first several weeks but it just isn't something I use all the time. For those who would like to really stay on top of their steps, stairs, runners and other types of fit gurus this is probably for you. Battery life is okay. I let it run for about 2 days uncharged and it kept up with phone calls, texts etc. everything it offers (solid), until it gave me a battery rundown alert and even then you can switch it from color to black & white and still get more life out of it. So, you can only guess how much longer it can run without its full functionality. Lightweight too, the band was strong I did go out for a run or two with it and never worried about it falling off. I don't see why it would need anything lower than 5 stars it's a really cool device.

The Gear Fit2 came with my purchase of another Samsung device, so I'd thought I give it a test run. It tells you when you are lazy ("you've been inactive for 50 minutes, get up), and will measure your heat rate, track the amount of steps you take over a 24 hour period, as well as the number of floors you climb a day. It syncs with the Samsung software on phones, so you can review your daily routines. It's not a necessity at all, but a fun way to monitor you exercise (assuming you don't mind your bio-metric data being monitored/recorded).

Great for keeping track of activity, sleep, and heart rate. My band is size large - probably should have gone with a medium. Easy to wear and easy to read. Works well with my S7 phone.

I picked up the Samsung Gear Fit2 watch to compliment my Samsung Galaxy phone. This watch is only android, and will only work with android phones. However, if your an Apple fan, you're not looking at it anyway. I get about 3 days out of the battery. Sometimes a little less depending upon usage. It is great to be able to see who is calling without having to pull out the phone or to see and answer texts. When receiving a text, it will actually think of a good answer and give it as an option as well as anything you set up on your phone to use as a message. It really is great. I use this feature all the time. It has many apps on it and that can be added. I love the music control feature that controls the music from my phone. I really can't think of anything bad about it. Perhaps a longer lasting battery. But 3 days isn't bad.

It looks and functions great. But battery life is short. The band keeps falling off. Would be great if the band and battery life is fixed

The watch itself is good but isn't very water resistant. I work in the kitchen and constantly was my hands, never to the point when i submerged them deeper than 12inches and longer than 10 seconds. After 7 months the watch started to freeze on me randomly with or without getting it splashed. Then about 10 months, the wake up screen when you raise your hand up to see the time begins to lag a bit. My recommendation is don't let water touch the watch if you want to extend the life past 1 year.

It fits great and easy to use. Love the features. Love the fact that the screen saver can be one of my favorite games from when i was a kid.

Overall a great product. Keeps pretty accurate steps, floors, and heartbeat. No need to sync strides and floors,plus very comfortable on the wrist. Cool colors and face options but energy suck. Just need sonicboom to make it compatible.

The watch itself is nice. The main reason I brought the watch was for the GPS and the water proof/resistant feature. The GPS is accurate and the step counter is right on point with the Fitbit. The main issue I have is my wife found articles saying the watch isn't really IP68 it's just a buzz word and how a lot of people watches broke and Samsung did not honor the warranty. It's a nice watch as long as you don't get it wet.

screen is great. best on market by far. battery is not great but prob because screen is so bright and colorful. pretty user friendly

Setup was simple. Pairing with my phone was easy as the Samsung products play nice with each other. Really interesting information given by this watch as to how many steps I take in a day as well as how "effective" my sleep is. My only complaint is that the watch for some reason often thinks I'm cycling when I'm driving. I mean I'm flattered that it thinks I can keep up a 70 MPH pace for as long as I have to drive for work sometimes, but it throws off the amount of time I spend being active when it counts my drive time as a work out. To be fair, it also occasionally tells me I've been inactive too long when I drive for extended periods of time. Oh, and the band... it doesn't like to stay clasped when I'm working a lot. I bought a band that was supposed to help with that from a third party, but it doesn't help much. They might want to rethink the design of the clasp.. maybe make it more like the Apple Watch (*gasp*... did I actually say that here??? Is that alllowed??? LOL)? Other than those 2 annoyances, I'm very happy with my Samsung Fit 2 watch!

I switched from a fitbit to the Gearfit2 and have been fairly happy with it, with one exception, the stair/floor counter. Only once have I gotten more then one floor counted. My Granddaughter and I have the same watch. On a recent trip to Yellowstone she would have 7 floor and I would have either one or none. and we did exactly the same stairs together. Otherwise it counts steps and heart rate fairly accurately. I will recommend this watch if Samsung can successfully get my stair counter working correctly.

Overall this watch is great. The screen is awesome, nice and bright. Easy to toggle thru everything. Works great with the app. I had to speak with tech support b/c it wasn't counting properly. Unlike most people, it wasn't counting enough. I know I walked up and down the stairs at least 10 times one day and it gave me 1 flight of stairs. The steps seemed very low. They were able to help and reset the watch and works better, sometimes I wonder though. The only thing I wish was different was I wish it was a little smaller.
