The gear fit2 was purchased for my wife to replace her fitbit. She is a nurse and needs the second hand and the ability to keep the screen on longer. Neither was available with the fitbit. She really likes the gear fit2, how it fits on her wrist, the options for watch faces with second hands, the ability to set different options and to receive messages, etc. I liked it so much that I bought one as well. We are not fitness nuts but did want to get into shape, the ability with the S fit app on our samsungs to set up competitions has made it kind of fun to compete with the number of steps. All in all a nice little watch with great options and a very clear screen.

Purchased this watch to keep track of daily activity and for golfing. Works great and the golf app (Golf Navi Global) is very accurate. Battery lasts approximately 2 days with normal use, but charges in less than 40 minutes. GPS is nice, but does not seem as accurate as my wife's Garmin Vivosmart. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a tracker and smartwatch. Wish there were more apps from Samsung would be the biggest con.

Went looking for a fitbit. Salesman at Best Buy reviewed features and recommended the Gear Fit2! Perfect! It does everything he said it would and I have found it very easy to use!

I use this for tracking the number of steps I take on s daily basis. My only 2 issues are: 1 - I wish it had a regular charge plug as opposed to the little stand it uses. 2 - Sometimes the strap doesn't want to fasten securely. But, if you squeeze the little tab into a slot, it holds on pretty good. Both are small nitpicky and it doesn't detract from me liking the tracker. I would probably buy this again if I needed to.

Excellent smart watch. Easy to use apps and very comfortable to wear. Battery life is the only concern

I purchased this watch to help me keep track of my steps, but it's so much more. It worked great with my Samsung phone and even works well with my iPhone 7. Lots of great features.

Does everything needed for casual fitness activities and has functioned perfectly since purchased. Battery life a bit short but screen and connectivity is great.

I upgraded from the original gear fit to the Fit2. This one has more exercise options to track and the HR monitor seems to measure more easily (can measure during activity & you don't have to be still). The watch unit itself seems more durable and doesn't have that "chrome" trim which ended up peeling & chipping off. However, the battery life doesn't last as long as the previous model, for me - with the same type of use.

The product is well designed and has good functionality, but only when it works! The mileage counter for running is very inaccurate, often showing the exact same route with completely different distances. But the worst part was how it wouldn't recharge...first every now and again and now not at all. So it has essentially died because either the charger is broke or the watch is. Either way it no longer powers on.

Had two generations of the Microsoft Band. I like the GreatFit2 because it's smaller and lighter less chunky. Biggest complaints are: 1) no way to "sleep" the device with auto-detect of sleep. Even turning the brightness down to 1, I get blasted at night by light sometimes. 2) Getting back to activities in process is challenging if they lose focus (e.g. if I'm running, get a goal met notification, then hard to get back to running)

I love it very accurate and easy to use! I have lost over 20 pounds by helping me keep up with my calories and how many calories I burn and how many steps I take a very need it I item

I find that I exercise more using the Gear and it is easily connected to my phone. In addition It tracks my health and even tells me when I need to get active! It tells calories burned so I'm able to see the amount of calories used per day. It is a fun, interesting item to own.

Pros: Great at detecting type of activity (detected when I was on elliptical and exercise bike), syncs nicely with my Galaxy S5 and has great workout routines. Cons: The turning of the wrist to view actual time doesn't always work for me, the battery life is about 30 hours at the most, doesn't constantly monitor heart rate. I had a basis watch before recalled, and don't like this watch as well, but it's pretty good.

The Gear Fit 2 is just a great fitness wearable. Its simple to use, sleek design and was just what I was looking for in a fitness tracker. Not overly complicated and well made.

The Gear Fit2 is a nice piece of equipment for most uses, but it has some flaws... limited number of apps, battery life a bit unpredictable (sometimes it goes to 3 days, sometimes it is out in about a day). May not be 100% accurate too (HR is measured but I compared with other measurements method and typically found it to err on the low side). Nice that the display can be customized with the Gear Watch Designer...

This watch keeps you on track for activity and monitors heart rate. You can see when you are getting calls and messages. Clear screen and multiple options for backgrounds.

This fitness watch is wonderful. Easy to read display. Records all pertinent info. Love that I get notifications of incoming phone calls, texts & more from my cell phone.

Purchased it for a gift and the person is loving it! Very easy to use and program. It transfer everything to his phone Health profile. It even records sleep time! Good purchase!

Monitor s step counts, heart beats, calories burned, and tells time. Not a bad combination.

Works great. Like the charging station. The automatic workout mode needs some improvement. The device automatically when into workout mode (riding a bike) while I was driving my car. Two times in a month of wearing it. Heart rate is a little off when in workout mode but seams very accurate otherwise. Happy with purchase overall.
