Great product.Takes care of all of the needs of the person I gave it to. She loves the way it looks

I love the Gear Fit2.. The only thing I dislike about it is that I have to reset it after bit is turned off for a long period of time, in order to connnectbto my Bluetooth. There are so many things you can have to show up on your gear fit.. Examples: emails, text messages, calories burned, steps.. Etc.

I love the Samsung Gear Fit2. I had the Fitbit Blaze before this and it was nice, but the Fit2 has a much better screen, better read outs, and stand alone gps for my bike rides and hikes. I will say that the heart rate isn't as accurate but it is close and being such a new product I'm sure Samsung will do an update to remedy this. All in all, much happier with this watch!

First, I have a really nice real watch I will probably wear the rest of my life. That said, I really enjoyed my FitBit HR and my wife liked the "band" look. I tried the FitBit Surge and Charge, but they were both either too large or too cumbersome in operation for my liking. They were also pretty expensive for what I was looking for - a better replacement for my HR. I was going to stick with the Surge when the Fit2 came out. I checked out at the store and it was substantially less than the Surge and provided as much or more functionality. I have a Huawei 6P connected to it and it works flawlessly about 90% of the time. The 10% is just a matter of it losing sync if i leave my phone somewhere and just wear the watch - it sometimes automatically doesn't reconnect. You can chose what Android apps send notifications, and I have messenger/Gmail/Phone so it buzzes and shows the sender whenever you get something. As for as durability - I've washed my hands covering it with water with no problems. No plans to go swimming with and I don't feel I need to shower with it. I have not yet used it as an mp3 player without my phone, but downloading some music to it was super easy. I highly suggest this device if you like the "band" look, want basic smartwatch functionality, and you actually care about how much money you spend.

I like the size, not too small, or Gordy, and fits like a bracelet. Don't wear too loose or you will see a green light under it, & the battery will deplete quickly. Music feature also, but still a great feature with wireless headphones. Works great with th health app on Samsung cellphones.

Based on reviews and that I have a Samsung phone I made this purchase. Downloading the user manual was easy enough. It did come with start up directions. Using the various features is user friendly and intuitive enough. I did find the manual very useful as well. The watch synchs easily with my phone. I can make changes from either device. I can view the logs from the watch and I can manage the log from my phone. All in all a very nice fitness tracker.

I got this to track my sleep and the bonus is it tracks my steps, heart rate, floors climbed and other things.

Wear it everyday, automatically starts tracking different activities such as walking, using the elliptical etc after a few minutes of doing certain activities. Gotten it wet plenty of times and it still works like a charm. Only complaint is the battery, I wish it lasted a little longer.

This is a good watch. The only complaint I have is the sensitivity of the screen on wrist flick.

The watch itself is quality, connects easily to my Note 7, and does a good job of tracking time, steps, pulse, etc. I love getting updates to my watch and not having to pull out my phone... enjoyed that WAY more than I thought I would. Why only 4 stars? The display is good but watch face images look like a display, not a watch. I suspect this watch can do a lot more than I've been able to get it to do... and I'm pretty tech savy. Some of the connectivity with software on my phone is confusing. It doesn't help that many of the programs that connect to watches don't connect to the Gear Fit2... in particular, the Weight Watchers app won't "talk" to it. You're stuck with the Samsung software, which is good, but not all that I want to do with the info. If you can get it for a decent price, it's a really great digital watch and "message assistant" that can track several stats. I'm certainly still wearing it, and hope it will continue to become more valuable to me as Samsung continues to upgrade its capabilities.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend and I actually got an Open Box product. It was significantly cheaper, but in great condition (I'm always satisfied with Best Buy refurbished/open box items). As far as the watch itself, it's not a "smart watch" but is a great alternative for someone who doesn't want to pay mega bucks for a fancy one. Does all the basic answer calls/send texts/read messages/etc. and also is a fitness tracker.

I am pleasantly surprised by this smart-fitness watch. It is easy to use while combining smart watch features with fitness tracker. At first I was concerned about the size, but it is only slightly bigger than the garmin vivofit that I had previously. Steps seem to be a little less than my garmin vivofit. Chose this watch, because I have a note 4 and the price was right...I am glad I went with this choice rather than the more expensive garmin vivosmart hr+.

This is a great fitness tracker. Really easy to set up and use but drains your phones battery when linked.

The gear fit 2 has been an excellent upgrade to the original. The price is another great point you do get a lot useful features similar to the more expensive Samsung watches. As far as using it at the gym this watch just like the previous model are not cumbersome and holding up well.

I had a Blaze and liked it but I use this more for a smart watch than fitness. Better than the Blaze for notifications and has continuous heart rate monitoring. My biggest complaint about the first Gear Fit was the lack of continuous HR. All around a great, comfortable smart watch.

Being a use of another brand of fitness tracker for the last two years, I was eager to use and pleased with the performance of the Gear Fit2. The advantage of receiving both text and phone call information is a plus. While at work, I can discretely know that I received a text or a phone call. It works well with S Health. My other tracker had the capability but was never able to sync real time with the calls nor the texts. Not that I tried to pair and use with other phones/brands, but I think it may need more documentation to be able to easily pair and use with other phones apps. Another area that I think needs improvement (or that as of now I have not being able to set/up or modify) is a night/sleep setup. When you wear it for tracking your sleep, if you raise your arm the tracker will turn on at your current brightness setting, which could be a lot in a dark room. After your are asleep it should not bother but it looks funny having a "flashlight" under the sheets while falling asleep.

Very accurate and helps me push to beat my previous work out history! Even keeps track of sleeping habits.

I like the Fit2, but it doesn't play well with my fitness apps. I have the Fit2 working with Samsung Health and Samsung Health syncing some (not all) data with MyFitnessPal and Runtastic. Roundabout solution. MapMyRun has a Gear App, but doesn't work well with the Android Phone app.

I am very pleased with my Gear 2. It is easy to see and is easy to set most of the features. My only issue is I wish it was a bit easier to navigate the features. I think this may be more an issue of my dislike of change (since I had the first Gear) and less an issue with the item.

For the price and the features this thing has, its hard to beat. I wear my every day and to the gym. It tracks heart rate and steps very well, wish it had better detection to change in work outs so I didn't have to go in and change my workout type manually.
