I purchased my GearFit after reading some reviews and shopping around. I was going to purchase the FitBit, as it syncs with some of the other apps I have, but found that I like the way it links so easily to my Samsung phone, and I like all of it's features. It has encouraged me to get more movement- and, even when I don't reach my goals for the day, I know that I did more than I would have without it. It fits well, it's easy to put on/take off, the charge lasts a couple of days and it looks stylish,

Love the big display. Battery only last about a day. Stairs counter is not accurate all the time. Sleep tracker falls short of other fitness devices. Don't know how it works for actually working out, but for just something to have to keep track of simple stuff, its good

Being retired, I need to be reminded to quit playing IPad and move! This accomplished that goal. I like that it is also a watch, tells me who is calling or when I have a message. It also reminds me of calendar dates. The only downside is the strap dies come lose fairly easily. I am not a fitness person, so cannot speak to that aspect.

I'm a huge fan of Samsung wearables. I had the Neo 2 and loved it...even though the charger was cheaply made. The Gear Fit 2 has a really nice look and feel...borderline between a watch and a thinner activity tracker. As far as the accuracy goes, there's some room for improvement but all the alerts and exercise features makes up for it.

In general the Gear Fit2 is okay. The battery life is pretty good, but never leave the wifi on. I like the google notifications. Temperature forecasts, time to work, etc. It's nice. However: No sleep mode to turn off the display. It has a GPS, but the app on the phone doesn't show the map you ran, or biked. The app doesn't show your history of calorie burn. Bluetooth goes on and off. I have to restart it to re-sync to the phone. My biggest gripe is the calorie counter. My Microsoft Band, and old Garmin, would be within 10% of each other when I'm on an elliptical. This Fit2 measures half what the others did. It must be in their formula. You can put it in exercise mode. Go sit on a couch, and the calorie count will be the same is a full, hard workout. Stupid. I think all of those are correctable with software changes, so I hope Samsung will figure it out. It would be a great product if they do.
