Overall a great product for the price. A much better fitness watch than other major brands I have owned in the past.

    Battery problems were its downfall

I was so happy when I bought the Gear Fit2. I traded in my Fitbit HR Charge 2 for it. I loved the user-friendliness of it and how easily it synced to my S8+. However, after a couple of weeks, I noticed serious battery drainage during times when I wasn't exercising. It would drop 40% in an hour. I was told by a Best Buy rep when I went in to exchange it that it should not be left on the battery charger overnight because that "probably fried the battery." Since there was nothing in the paperwork that said NOT to do it, I didn't give it a second thought. Instructions to indicate this was a concern would have been helpful.

Okay, so this is my first fitness watch so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I love it. It has helped me to become more active, more aware of my sleep patterns, and keeps me in touch on the go. I like that you can pick your own screen face, pick the applications you want, and carry your music on your arm. What's not to love?

The Fit2 is has its own GPS built in, no longer reuired to carry that heavy phone around during a work out or especially a run. The gps maps out the path you ran on dispaly. Took it out on a rain run, the device still works optimal through the rain and after! Love that feature. Its a great product for running users!

Not only serves a watch, activity tracker, heart monitor, gps, and music player but also insures that you never miss a call, email or message. Did not think that I would like it at first.... The more I wear it the more I like it.

I got one for my mom and one for myself. It's easy to pair and set up. Changes can be made from your phone and watch. My favorite feature is it locates your phone, even if it's on silent itt will make your phone ring on loud and vibrate. charge can last a day or two as long as the face of the watch is not on at all times.

Love my Gear Fit.. Activity Tracker and Smart Watch. All in one! Tracks steps/heart rate and activity times. In addition it connects to my phone and email, so I get alerts. Connects also to Samsung S Health where you fuller tracking of activities and trends. Love that it periodically monitors HR also. Easy to read and recharge.

Bought this for my 11 yr old daughter. She wanted a fitness tracker and I already had one of these so felt like it was perfect for her. It also allows her to receive notifications for texts, calls etc while she is in school. Comes in handy when phones are placed in a backpack and we need to update her on travel arrangements.

I trialed 3 different watches with GPS, since my phone GPS isn;t that good. I am training for a half marathon, I like to bike and hike. I like this watch best; best screen for my aging eyes, best value, really good GPS, although it wasn't the best GPS. Multi sport and it notifies me when I receive messages....plus so much more.

Love the find your phone capability from the fit2. I'm losing my phone constantly and this when charged will find my phone easily. The battery seems to die fast which is a bummer but it does have great features when charged.

I love my watch, but If you need to answer your phone, don't expect to talk into this watch until you get to your phone, there is no microphone. I find it mostly accurate, other than the floor count... Not even close!

Samsung Has Potential, But Issues There

Most definitely a step up from both the Microsoft Band 2.0 and other smart-wearables. Good design, lots to look at and for a small screen the image is sharp and surprisingly readable. Lots of options for adding in email, texts, Facebook and Twitter make this a great companion device. Still falls a little flat with the fitness side of the software. Stair counts are a mess, heart rates aren't consistent, and the calorie counter seems to suffer. Not looking for a fitness device? This may be the device for you

I was going to get the news Fitbit, but when I was looking I decided to get the product that would also sync up to my phone. I love that is tracks everything and that I can get phone call and text notifications in case something important comes up. The only discouraging thing is how often I have to put it on the charger.

My goal is to keep moving so the step count is important. Great to be able to sync it with s health to check progress. I have enjoyed so much I bought two more as gifts. Heart beat is also important but accuracy not perfect.
