This is definitely a great smart watch , very functional. You can change your watch face it's like having 80 watches in one. Battery life depending on how and what you use it for can be about 2 days on a single charge. I would definitely get a second charging base for work place.

If you are committed to buying the Gear S2, spend the extra $50 for the classic, but stay away from this watch. At least with the classic watch, you get a normal wristband design that you could purchase anywhere. The wristband on this watch was the worst design I have ever experienced. It is made to where the clasp that connects to the watch, just sits in the wristband, with nothing holding them together. See attached images. The wristband has broken on me twice already, and I have to send it in to Samsung for them to repair/replace the wristband. The first time it broke, I was sitting at my desk typing on the keyboard. The second time it broke I was sitting in the truck and I couldn't find it. It had fallen between the seats. My next step is to see if there is anyway to pay the difference and get the classic watch.

The watch is very smooth. The ability to move thru apps is very smooth. The downside is the lack of applications. Samsung states there are over 1000 plus apps but many of them are the same minimal apps, such as watch face.

I absolutely love this watch! I don't need to worry if I have my phone by my side 24 hours a day. I can check all notifications on it, see how many steps I've taken, see my heart rate by just tapping on it and so much more! I can also turn off the notifications when I need to.

I think the gear S2 is a great smartwatch, and actually my first smartwatch. I've had it for a month now, and love everything from the battery to the fitness recording.

Purchased about a month ago and very satisfied with the product lots of apps and battery last about three days with normal use, very easy to use and pair to phone.I love the fact that you can change and customize bands.

purchased for our manager for a gift he loves it and wears it every day. His favorite thing is to show us what he discovered it will do. So glad I made the choice, very easy to use and works perfect with his phone.

Great watch..Nice design, great look and great functionalities. It was easy to peer with my phone. Notifications great and easy to maneuver thru its features. Loved it..

Good watch so far; didn't feel I wanted the Classic since I lead an active lifestyle, and didn't feel like shelling out the extra cash for the new model. Had the Apple Watch before this one, and picked this up when I got my phone upgrade (a Galaxy S7). It's really comparable--I personally like it more because of the shape, the bezel navigation (and the buttons), and how rich the colors are. Really functional, feels sturdy--overall worth the money. If you're looking for an Android watch, get this one. It's more than the Moto360 and all the other jazz that's out there, but it's a solid purchase.

Was looking at the predecessors from last year, and I'm glad I waited out for this one. Much more sleeker looking with great functionality in a smart watch. I can see who's calling me without needing to pull my phone out, and see notifications from my emails and texts.

I purchashed this watch and loved it since. I have no issues with the battery goin dead. Im still learning how to use. The only thing I wish it had was a microphone. Other than that, great watch!

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with my purchase of the Samsung S2 gear watch. I'm still learning all the bells and whistles and I'm certain I'm not getting the maximum use out of it yet. One thing that I don't like about the watch and I didn't know this going in is that it seems that the watch doesn't have any sound. Perhaps I'm wrong about that but I often would use the alarm on my old timex and the simple beep would be enough to wake me up. This watch doesn't seem to have a beep but only vibrates. Since I don't wear the watch when I'm sleeping, the vibrate feature is not helpful for the watch alarm. If I'm wrong and there's a way to attach a sound to the watch alarm, please comment and let me know how to do it by replying to my review.

Bought watch in January 2016. I really like the watch and all of the features but I've already had to send the watch back to Samsung once because the wrist band came apart within the first 3 months of purchase. Samsung made me send the whole watch to them instead of just sending me a new wrist band. The watch was with them for over 6 weeks before I got it back. I got it back with what seems like a new band. The problem now is that the watch band randomly disconnects from the watch face and falls from my wrist to the floor scratching and damaging it. I noticed that it happens often when I wear long sleeve shirts. Come to find out that if I pinch the band together (which happens naturally with movement wearing a long sleeve shirt), the watch band disconnect from the face and falls off (picture demonstrates this). I'm not sure if the band is defective or the whole design of the watch. Either way I have to send the whole watch back to Samsung again to get the band checked. I'll give an update when I get the watch back in another 6 weeks.

I've had a few Samsung smart watches before purchasing this one and I must say this tops them all. Love the design and the interface. It does so much yet looks so dimple doing it. Kudos to Samsung for this device.

So my wife really likes the watch and weve done sre own head to head comparisons to my apple watch. First off it was less exspensive so thats a benefit over the apple watch. She really likes the ability to read her email and easily reply to text on her watch as well. Ive personally noted it actually has what seems to be more apps thsn my aplle watch which was interesting. Unfortunately it lacks in some basic areas according to my wife. With heavy use which for my wife is daily it doesent last a whole day. The second draw backnos tou cant answer calls direectly on the watch. Both of these things are done well on thse apple watch. All being said she still enjoys it a lot and will probally bot be able to go without from here on out.

Very comfortable and compact design that gives it a cool sporty look while retaining a more sophisticated aspect and feel. Lots of cool features that make it both a smart watch and fitness band. The rotating bezel really makes it stand out from other smart watches.

The watch is giving great performance and seems to be everything my husband was looking for in terms of functionality, steps walked, notifications, etc. He misses a camera option, tho. Oh well, that costs more.

Like the looks of it and the changing of information through the turning of the dial. Wish it was so that I could talk to a speaker. Good enough for my needs. I don't miss any calls and it tracks my activities.

I didn't need all the fancy stuff from the Moto 360 so I decided to get the Samsung gear s2 sport for myself. I've had it about a month and I quite enjoy it. It's very nice to get notifications of everything from my phone without having to look at it. Tracks steps and heart rate through out the day which I like! I normally don't wear it to sleep but it tracks that too. Usually when I take naps that's when I see the results. User friendly and you can pick different downloadable watchfaces which is also a plus! But for now I have just been using a pre installed one.

Wish there were more apps like fb msg. Completely love it. Battery last 2ish days with a lot of play and it actually charges pretty quick. Band is a little hard to get off but that could be a good thing. You know they won't just pop off.
