I must have gotten the one defective model out of many. Internet is super slow and pictures won't load. I can't even do Windows updates without an ethernet connection. Called Samsung and their answer is to reset to original and wipe off the Microsoft Office and virus protection software I put on even though I've already explained that it has been this way since the very beginning. At least HP support is willing to walk thru diagnostics and try to figure out what the problem is if there's something wrong with their computers. As bad as HP can be, I should have stuck with them. Now I've got a laptop that needs to be tethered to the router to be of any use.

This computer is perfect for internet surfing and basic online tasks. I've been very satisfied with this product thus far. Would recommend to someone looking for the same in a laptop computer.

i just recently bought this laptop from best buy in lexington ky. money well spent it runs everything from games to movies and more it works perfect

I just brought this not too long ago and its great

I love this computer and I think its awesome for me

I purchased this laptop as an open-box product online and had it delivered to my house. It arrived 5 days later in a box that seemed to be slightly falling apart with the tape coming undone at the seams. I opened the box and was relieved to see that the actual laptop box was intact. What bothered me the most was that although this laptop was labeled open box- it did not specify that it was a floor model. Had I known it was a floor model, I would have opted to just purchase a new laptop. Although it does not have any significant problems, one thing I noticed with this is that when the screen dims but the laptop remains on, the laptop makes a slight whirring noise which seems to come from the HDD and makes a distinct click. This repeats itself continually for the next 3-5 seconds until I move the mouse or press a key and the screen turns back on. At this point the noise goes away. I went to the Geek Squad to ask for help, and they couldn't tell what I was talking about because there was too much ambient noise in the store to distinguish the whirring noise and the click. They offered to send it to the factory at the cost of $35, which I declined as I feel this should be covered given that the product was just purchase and already seems to be having issues. I usually have a good experience with best buy, so I am slightly disappointed with this product. Would not recommend.

Has been in for repair multiple times. A lemon. They are going to refund price of computer but i’m out the cost of a 3 year warranty when I should have 2 years left. Plus tax. That isn’t fair. This computer was problematic from the Start. Would not turn on and motherboard replaced twice. Ridiculous. No wonder they don’t sell them here anymore.

Runs very slow out of the box even with i5 processor and 8gb of RAM. One of the first things I had to do was a clean reinstall of Windows to get rid of the bloatware like MacAfee and all the other software Samsung loads on it. System was a little improved after that but not very much.
