Q: How long is the battery life?
A: Im not 100% on that answer. From my use I usually always have it on the charger at work. It does have the power saving features you can enable. You should be able to get through a whole day of general use just fine. If you are using a more powerful program, photoshop etc, it wont last as long.
A: It doesn't detach. The hinge allows the touchscreen to be opened all the way so it is flat and flush with the keyboard, but it doesn't detach.
A: Samsung's website says further down the product description page that it can be upgraded to SSD and SSD is sold separately. The key specs on the Best Buy product description are incorrect as far as I can tell by doing some extra research this afternoon. Thanks for the question because it prompted me to call Best Buy and get a partial refund for the misleading information.

Q: Specs say it has a solid state hard drive, yet it also claims the storage is HDD. I am confused.
A: It is a PCI-e M.2 SSD. One SSD for both the system and for Storage, which will be in the default folders, Documents, Pictures, Downloads, Music, Video. Just like any other Windows computer. An SSD is still considered to be a HDD.

Q: Is this good for light gaming?
A: Absolutely. One of the main reasons we bought this laptop was so my son could play a couple of games that he was not able to play on our mac. Right now he's playing Hello Neighbor, Keep talking and Nobody explodes, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator.
