Great crombook Better than the one I bought from HP

I bought this PC for my granddaughter. It is great

We did not have a good experience with this computer. I’ve heard bad things about chrome books but we bought one anyway probably because the little drawing features and 2 in 1 touchscreen were very enticing. Within nine months the battery would not charge nor could we use it with just plugging it in. Luckily it was still under the regular warranty. We brought it back to bestbuy and it was determined that there was some kind of problem that they could fix under warranty so we were quite happy. After further research we find out that if you let this battery drain out too many times Eventually it will not charge anymore. Nor will the computer work just by plugging it in. So it has some kind of problem and you can’t just swap out the battery yourself it’s not that easy. Warranties on repairs last 30 days they said so basically it is now just useless. I can understand the battery not working if you let it drain out to many times, I think that’s a common knowledge for all kinds of different products but it should still be usable when plugged into an outlet. I would never ever buy a chrome book again, a complete waste of money And I had to buy a new laptop in less than two years. The purchase date on this review indicates we bought it in August 2020 but we bought it in March 2019.

Sadly, the screen was broken without any reason. I only used it for 10 month. Touch screen was very nice.

I enjoyed some features of this Chromebook, but found it lacking in many areas. I'd recommend going another route, unless you only need something very basic.

Nice Chromebook. My only complaint is the battery, for some reason mine would not keep a charge. It would only charge while being plugged into the charger. I also couldn't see the battery icon, which led me to believe something was wrong with the battery itself. I had to hit the back of the computer just for the battery to work properly. Couldn't even send back due to the time frame. So we can only use this while its plugged in, soon as its unplugged the computer shuts off.

Originally got this Chromebook for my daughter in May of 2019 and the hinge and screen was lifting by November 2019. I took it back and they ended up replacing the whole Chromebook. Here we are in November of 2020 and she is having the same issue on the replacement but now we are out of warranty and out of luck. Do not waste your money on this garbage....

After setting up the chromebook for the first time it worked great for 3 days then crashed. The screen read that the OS was missing or damaged. Basically, the only way to fix it was to reload the OS. I did this then the following week it did the same thing. This happened 3 more times after this all within a span of less than a month. I ended up bringing the chromebook back and Best Buy had to send it out to have it repaired. I am hoping they replaced the motherboard and did not just re-load the OS because it will fail again. The big issue is that the "Hard Drive" is soldered directly to the motherboard. So if that went, you can't just easily replace it or upgrade it to a larger size on your own. I think this was just a fluke because I have had great success with almost all Samsung devices.

I got this chromebook with the intent to just use it for my audible books, but the speaker stopped working 2 days after I bought it. Needless to say, we returned it.

upsetting kinda because I thought it was coming with a styist I thought I was paying for a laptop that was included a stylist and it didn't ....

hard to operate going to take back i have no problem printing from other devices n my house It says its printing but it's not..Very frustrating!!\

Great laptop when it was functional. Broke after almost a year. Top of the screen broke from the keyboard and it was unfixable.

I wish the weight of this chromebook could be a bit lighter. The touch screen is not very sensitive, comparing to that of a smartphone.

Beside just a Netflix machine it is good for Graphics design. If your into making digital arts this machine is the way to go.

Nice laptop. However, I did not realize it did not run windows. I personally did not like it and ended returning it.

Not child friendly as we were told We were told a 6 year old could use it with ease. Our 8 year is struggling

The computer it self is a good computer . Wish i was able to play a variety of games and not just off the google play store .

Absolutely awful build! The hinge on the left side broke through the screen after a couple months. The hinge on the right side broke through screen too shattering the screen. Now the computer does not hold itself up anymore.

Love the chrome books. Had a few issues with mine. 4/5 stars except buying from Best Buy

I was not to big of a fan with this style. Didn’t like the pen part of the laptop.
