Q: Does this come with the pen that's shown? If so, is there a place to keep it?
A: Yes it does. It locks in/stores inside the computer.
Q: Can you print from this model and what printers are compatible?
A: Yes, you can print to units that support Google Cloud Print.
A: I'm not sure what version comes installed (out of the box). When I first started up, it went through a series of initial set-up screens, and downloaded/installed the latest version of Chrome OS (v68 at the time) during that process. So you should have the latest version of Chrome OS once you complete the set-up process.

A: Our Chromebook has no HDMI port but has 2 different kinds of usb ports.
