Broke after 13 months hinge jammed and broke, taking the screen with it. Cost to replace was as much as buying a new one

The hinge on it broke after minimal use and when it did the screen cobwebbed with it. Would not recommend!

Chrome OS is not ready for primetime. This is almost unusable. VERY hard to use and not friendly. Not a good substitute for a Mac or PC.

Poor hinge design. Broke after 9 months of use. All else about this Chromebook is fine but unit is cheaply made for the price.

Really cute chrome book and I liked the feel of it and all but it froze right out of the box . Couldn’t risk it and had to return it .

This second version of the Chromebook plus builds upon and refines the original design while adding new problems. What is similar to the first gen plus: great s pen stylus integration, usb c charging, micro sd slot for expansion. What is improved: the FHD screen, although lower resolution than the first gen, is bright, colorful and slightly wider 16:10 aspect ratio making it better suited for desktop mode but still comfy for tablet mode. In addition to USB C, samsung added a legacy USB A port (less dongles, more flexibility). The bad: Although this has a back facing camera, which is great and a very useful feature, the software implementation is so buggy and slow it makes the camera unuseable. The original plus weighed 2.2lbs and was perfect for desktop mode and tablet mode, handheld. Samsung jacked up the weight in this second gen plus to 3lbs, making it significantly less comfortable to hold in tablet mode and less competitive for travel to an ipad pro/similar tablet device. Performance is exceptional for a mid range chrome os device and the general build quality is above average and what you'd expect from a mid tier samsung device. I hope gen 3 lightens up this design or makes it detachable. You're almost there Samsung!

I bought this Chromebook and there was charger included. Tried to call to see why not and couldn’t speak with anyone.

Computer is a great device but did not came with a power cord and there is a dent on the top of the computer

Six months and both hinges snapped off and now it’s no longer usable. Very disappointed. Not worth taking in and then being told it’s gonna cost more to fix it. Don’t make the same mistake I did. Don’t buy these. They’re priced low for a reason. Invest in a Mac. Wish I could give it 0.5 stars. What a waste.

It said it was like new in original packaging but the mouse pad doesn’t work and it didn’t live up to those stats

hinge broke 3 months and battery died 5 months ---

This Chromebook from day one was a piece of junk. We got it for my son as required by high school. It would never log on to anything. The mouse button which is part of the keypad you have to strain your finger to push down. Plus the battery died after 3 months and it it had to go in for service. Not to mention its slow and buggy when it did actually work which was rare.

I've had nothing but issues with this chromebook. I've sent it in for repairs 3 times. I wouldn't recommend it.

worked great until it did not; stopped being able to charge and was not able to be fixed.

Over the course of one year this chromebook has been in for service 5 times. The battery fails and you get a red flashing light that prevents the device from charging. Samsung customer service will replace the battery, but the issue persists. Do not buy. Absolute junk.

I purchased this one because it was the only one left at the store. I followed the instructions let battery fully charge then unplugged laptop. Once I flipped open the screen, I could barely see the screen. I couldn't find the settings, Thought maybe brightness setting? Shut it after setting wifi password. Sceen is completely blacked out.

I purchased this 2 in1 for my daughter as a christmas gift for school work and youtube etc and had given it to her around Jan 4 by Jan 13th the screen no longer turns on at all tried all trouble shooting offline thinking its user error nope to no avail still not working now a brand new laptop device has to be shipped to the manuf for repairs not happy at all

Thought I'd be getting a high quality system with the Samsung name (and at the price of a lower end laptop). hinges broke after 14 months of light use, won't ever by another Samsung system, not worth the price

it worked great ,right until your warranty run out,second time, two year apart

We turned on laptop use it for about 2 days then the screen went bad
