Love the SmartThings hub - it makes connecting a huge variety of smart home products possible. They have many officially supported integrations, and the open nature of the platform means that even unofficial integrations are pretty easy to do. I took off 1 star due to some random reliability issues that may be related to wi-fi outages, or sensors not reading reliably. It works great 95% of the time, but sometimes there is a lag in reading a presence sensor or a door sensor, so it's not perfect. The good thing is that there is a very active community and firmware updates seem to be improving things all the time. My home has gotten very smart thanks to this product.

I did a lot of research prior to choosing this set, after purchase I continued to seek out information as many of us do, and what I discovered was this product provides me with a lot of options for expansion and works with many other devices and the list is growing. SMART CHOICE

I purchased one a while ago for my home as I was dissatisfied with all the different apps for smarthome gadgets I had. Now am able to control all devices through one system and app, much clearer for guests to use as well. I purchased an additional unit for my parents.

I got this mainly to work with my Sonos, it's a hit and miss with the sonos. Works well with my Google home. Only complaint is the constant reminders. All in all. Great product.

Can't beat it for the price. Works seamlessly with the arlo and ecobee. I think they still need to work out a few kinks with the Hue lighting and Google home. I'm sure they will

I bought this kit and added some GE paddle light switches and additional multipurpose (door) sensors. Most of the time it is nice and useful, but we've had random issues. Sometimes the event-driven actions (mostly time based) randomly don't run. It can be slow to disarm when you arrive home, so I suggest making your home geo-fence bigger. This morning, we were awoken to an alarm that there was a door intrusion, but nothing was wrong. It is useful, but not reliable. Use it for non-critical home automation.

Set it up in less than an hour and all the devices went up with self adhesive pads. Remote monitoring is great and let's you know what is going on at your home no matter where you are. Bought other sensors and devices of multiple brands and integrated very easily.

The unirá are easy to install except the outlook connector Do not send you any noice message just a text message whic could be easy ignore Besides that is pretty good

I am very pleased with the Samaung Home system. It performs better than I could imagine. I originally had some trouble with the outlets but I chatted with product support and they were very helpful and walked me through everything to get them working.

Smartthings is a very simple to use home automation kit. It is very simple to set up and doesn't require for you to be technologically savvy. All you really need is a router with a spare Ethernet port and you are ready to set it up!

I am very pleased with product which has no problem with Samsung sensors, zwave alarm and siren, door locks, wemo, Amazon Alexa enabled Tab. It has been reliable so far. Now I am searching for ways to connect my audio system.

If you want a smart home you need Smart Things! A must!

Once you get the hang out of it, it's possibilities are unlimited. Currently I have it tied in with echo-dot from amazon. It replaces SIRI and you are not stuck with the Apple devices. It knows a multiple array of devices

Simple setup of SmartThings devices, slightly more complicated for others like Z Wave, but still an overall great, reliable product.

Installation was very easy. App not as bad as reviews I had read prior to purchasing (this was a potential roadblock I decided to take a risk on). Issues I have are sensors dropping off the network and then suddenly coming back online. I use this as a security device so that is unacceptable. The other issue is my wife's Samsung phone will not act consistently as a presence monitor whereas my Nexus does. Design of hub is really nice IMO. Looks ok sitting out. Don't throw out the activation card!

I purchased this home automation starter kit for the new house that my girlfriend and I live in , so far the system has worked well

It does a good job although I wish it had audio alerts as well. The motion sensor stopped working which seems to be a common issue based on what I read on the forums
