Very nice kit and excellent product. I recommend it.

Cool idea doesn't work. I bought this to be somewhat of an alarm system for my home, and automate the systems throughout my house and one app. This app stated he could do it all, however whenever you said at Geo fencing every time you leave your house the app logged you out on the iPhone on the latest update of the app. Making the app totally unusable as you get notifications and none of your events work

Everything that I needed to get started was included.

I had a hard time getting the hub to connect to the devices. Then best buy wouldn't let me return it.

Recently bought system and installation was very quick and easy. Great at sending notification to your email when system triggers. Wish it had a siren with package.

Been about a week+ since I bought this kit. I was on a lookout for sometime... the battery support to keep hub running in case of power loss, and less cloud usage to process signals, made me take the leap, as soon as smartthings v2 was released. I am a first time smartthings buyer... so it's been a learning experience for me, on how to use the kit to make the most out of it. Here is how I am using it right now... - One door sensor went on the main door, the second one on garage door. They both also measure temperature... which is great! - The motion sensor was placed in the living room, corner wall. I use it to disarm my house when any motion happens after 5:30am. Obviously for alerts when home is in armed (away) mode. - The switch...it has a heat blower connected to it! It's turned on when the motion sensor measured temperature is at 64 degrees. It turns off when the temperature reaches 68. This allowed me to reduce heat setting on the home thermostat and hopefully save on heating cost. Some learning's - There are cheaper zwave devices that can do the same job, that are much cheaper and they integrate with smartthings. So not sure if this kit is a runaway deal! - Smartthings mobile presence is a hit-miss. It relies on unreliable phone location setting to arm/disarm house. There are just too many misfires, because my phone's gps location determination is unreliable. I wish there was a easier way... like being connected to home wifi or not. - AT this time you can not add multiple family member phones to smartthings. I had to log in with my account on my wife's phone. I think it confuses the hub too. - There is no easy tasker integration (which i use a lot on my phone)...learn coding, then maybe. Overall - I am happy i bought this. Gives me peace of mind when i am out, that home is monitored - I am planning to buy more devices as I learn how to use them to either save money or effort by automating. - It would become much better if smartthings can sort out the multi user login issue, and allow mobile presence detection via wifi connection. Overall - I recommend you buy it if your on the fence

I wanted this thing to be my smart home hub but I struggled and am still struggling getting it to connect to my schlage smart sense lock. The physical samsung hub feels cheap and the electric outlet portion was flaky to turn on and off. Yes the hub was close to the outlet. I'm super bummed about this purchased.

Besides the app being down and not working on an iPad, this set works great! I wish it had more motion sensors.

This was purchased as a gift. After gifting, we realized it did not meet the parameters of the recipients needs.

The sensors are overly sensitive and the battery corrodes way too easily.

OK when it works. When it quits, usually takes a hard reset, and setting up again of all smart devices.

When the system works it is great. Had reliability problems and had to exchange a few sensors.

returned it, too expensive. Also did not see too many good reviews for it.

It's more than anticipated and feel it's kind of not ready for real time

It wasn't until after I opened the box that I realized that the range for the sensors to be away from the base was 15 feet! This seriously limited the application. Wound up w Arlo instead and am now in business

I have a kwikset lock and I could not get it to work.
